    Error C-0-1296

    Checking if there has been any kind of announcement or resolution to this error. I just decided to get back into this game however I may be rethinking this decision....

    error Delta C-O-1296

    Hello,
    It''s been a while since I last got this error but yesterday I got it for several times consecutively as I was trying to reconnect and log into the game... This problem has been already submited to Ubisoft Forums and no solutions have been presented to the users. However I think that it is important to report to the users what is this issue being originated from. And from what I have seen it all points to connection problems with the Ubisoft servers. Although, I would like to hear from one of the forum moderators what the problem is and what is being done to prevent this Delta C-O-1296 from happening. This far no suggestions or information has been shared by the moderators. Many thanks in advance!

    error Delta C-O-1296

    Hey,
    Had this error once or twice a couple of days ago. Today I basically can't play the game at all - after a minute or two I'm just getting this over and over again and being thrown into "Start Game" menu. Couldn't find a solution to this online. Somebody know how to classify this at least? Connectivity, performance, technical issue?..

    Quick fix that worked for me, given by Ubi Support

    So i talked earlier with Ubisoft regarding Delta C-0-1296, i got a fix that worked instantly pretty quickly from them,

    All i had to do was to change my MTU. The value i got was 1473.


    If you are on PS4 (which i am), here is the instructions on how to change it within the settings.


    1. Navigate to [Settings] > [Network].
    2. Here you will find four (4) options, Choose [Set Up Internet Connection].
    3. Now choose either [Use Wi-Fi] or [Use LAN Cable]

    3a. If using Wi-Fi – Enter your existing access point password and continue below.
    3b. If using LAN – Continue below.

    4. Choose [Custom] on the next screen.
    5. Select your normal settings for IP Address Settings. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Automatic]).
    6. Select your normal settings for DHCP Host Name. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Do Not Specify]).
    7. Select your normal settings for DNS Settings. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Automatic]).
    8. Select [Manual] for MTU Settings.
    9. Press enter to pull up the keypad and enter a new value and press X. We recommend 1473.
    10. Select [Next] to continue.
    11. Select your normal settings for Proxy Server. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Do Not Use]).
    12. Next, [Test Internet Connection]
    13. You will see a value under (PSN Sign-In – Successful) if this process was successful.

    If this process is unsuccessful or if your system is already configured for MTU 1473, please try again using the MTU Values 1450 or 1500.

    Still going on..
    During these events the game becomes unplayable with these delta errors..

    Can you guys at the very least, say what is up?

    Every thread someone shows up to ask if someone is still experiencing this and that's where it ends..

    Is there anything we can do on our end? Since this is the PC section ,I'm asking about a PC fix or at least what the problem is or what we can do..

    Getting the same error.Have returned to this game myself. Reinstalled this over the weekend and have been really enjoying it. So I settle down tonight and get the classic Delta errors.

    Don't Expect Help

    Ubisoft's stance on this is - it's all on YOUR end, not theirs.
    DO NOT expect this to be resolved. They have your money, your enjoyment means NOTHING to them now.
    You can jump through their hoops, networking, firewalls, resets, reinstalls, MTU adjustments, etc etc etc... but at the end of the day, even after it's been working fine for years, the only response you'll get is "Talk to your ISP."
    Again, they have your money, you have their paper weight.
