Crashing w/ "GPU driver Crashed" during connecting to servers

As title says I have been crashing with a "The GPU driver crashed" error ever since season 4 started. I tried looking it up to see if anyone has this issue but I only found 2 dead threads with no solution. How it goes is; I launch the game, skip the start cinematic, and press enter and start connecting to servers. My screen goes black and I crash immediately afterwards with that error. I can stay in the "press enter" screen as long as I want and I wont crash. As soon as I press enter to get into the menu I crash.

I have the same issue with the Test Server game as well but I can actually manage to get past the start up half the time, while I have never manged to get into a game in the actual game. The work around I managed to use to play some of the test server event was after restarting my pc: I disabled the uplay overlay, delete the options.ini ; launch the game and crash; edit the option.ini to windowed and I could actually play the game for 3-4 matches before I crashed. That work around only worked 50% of the time and when I did crash mid game It wouldnt work untill the next day.

    Stuff I have done/looked at:
-GPU doesnt overheat; rated at around 90C and it stays around 70C
    -Only crashes in For Honor
    -Disabled Uplay overlay
-Disabled any overlay ( I dont have any installed but for some reason I still get AMD ReLive showing up in task manager)
    - Not start any program but Uplay
    -Ran Uplay in Admin mode
    -Deleted options.ini
    -Ran in windowed
-Ran DDU and installed the most recent gpu driver
    -Reinstalled For Honor
    -verified For Honor
    -Reinstalled Uplay
-Its using my Fury and not integrated graphics
-unlpugged my gamepad and keyboard (My g510s was once causing my Google Chrome to BSOD my pc)
-I might be forgetting something but im out of ideas on what else to do.

My specs are: i7-2600k, 16gb ram, AMD Fury Nitro, windows 10

Does ubisoft know about this or if anyone has an idea on what else I could try. Or does this sound like a AMD problem and not a ubisoft problem?

    Hello Zero_Mutt,

Can you please create a case on the support website and submit your DxDiag and MsInfo files so we can look into this for you?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for confirming that, Zero_Mutt.

I can see your MsInfo is the wrong file type. Can you please re upload the file to your support case, making sure you export the file to a .txt file.

If the file is too large, you can also compress the file to .zip.

    Thanks!
