    Feedback on "event"...

I'm at a loss for words here... I usually don't ***** about games but I just can't sit back and let this fly without saying something or at the very least getting this off my chest... This so called "event" is a total disaster. I've never been more frustrated playing a game like this. First of all, you've taken any fun out of this by making us do the same content over and over to receive a cache with the chance of getting one piece of gear out of four sets. This includes every other set in the table so if you have bad luck like me and open 10 caches to only get 2 classified pieces that I already have.

Secondly, you make us (yes you make us because there's only a couple ways to farm quickly) do Lexington over and over. We did this to get the Barrets chest in the past personally it took me over 350 times to get my first one not to mention the last GE even and this one where I'm sure I'm close to 800-1000 times now. So this so called event is nothing more than beating your head against the wall for a chance at what you want. Never in my many years of playing MMOs have I had to do one thing as much.

You lowered the reward for clear sky to the point it's actually better to do Lexington just for the mere fact you wont wipe and have to start over. But, I'd rather have the challenge instead of this mind numbing BS in Lexington. On top of this you add another annoying aspect that does nothing more than make reloading more of an annoyance in a pug group where everyone seems to follow the highest GS player around and you're constantly getting hit with the bomb.

Then to top it off... with as many times as I've done clear sky and Lexington I still am missing one piece of each set. But, I have so many duplicates that I can only disassemble them because I have no space to hold them in inventory or stash. Why can't you let us trade pieces or use our phoenix credits to get the one piece we need? I have nothing to spend those damn things on anymore so why not put pieces on the damn venders instead of the garbage that's on them that no one needs if they played the game for more than 2 months?

By making you grind these classified pieces there's no time for casual to intermediate players to do anything else on the achievement list for the event. You have to play for 40 hours at least to get every set piece with this system the way it is. And, if you are unfortunate enough to not get the full set of what you want you have to deal with a 3% drop rate with what 10 sets now on the loot table?

Here's what I would change to make this more of an event we look forward to instead of dreading...

    1. Put random set pieces on the venders. Sell each for 5000 phoenix credits if you have to.
    2. Let you trade pieces with friends during the event that were in your group.
    3. Raise the chances of classified gear you shouldn't spend an hour doing missions and get 1-2 pieces that are dups.
    4. Make other instances more viable or give them more credits for the length of time it takes to complete them so we have some variety.
    5. Be more creative on these events to make them an actual event instead of just he log on and do this **** you've done over and over for 2 years.

This should not be a full time job for a week to get even one set. The game is not that fun I hate to break it to you. Lexington was fun for maybe 10 runs by the 800th its just a chore.

I just hope when the GEs are fixed, they don't assume Lex and CS are the cause of boredom and frustration and leave them largely the same.
Lex and CS definitely add to the boredom immensely, no question, but a more core issue is present in the GEs that are game currently, and that core issue is they're inherently boring.
All GEs thus far are variations of the same concept; damage dealt or damage taken based on distance from an NPC or group member.
They alter nothing about the world, They set no theme for the world, They offer no new experience or way to play (A new way to play isn't increasing headshot damage, or staying away from an NPC or Ally), and no unique enemies or encounters, no new story or lore, no new interesting mechanics for the player, ect.

My though is that the current Global Events are boring farming weeks.

How I imagine Global Events in the Division
Imagine the entire map was on fire, smoking and Cleaners absolutely everywhere; the sky would be dark, cloudy, ashy and have a crimson red glow from the fires across the city. Maybe instead of snow, ash will fall from the sky.
The whole city would be themed Cleaner. Garbage trucks and other Cleaner vehicles everywhere.
New Cleaner NPCs, Cleaner bosses, Cleaner events, a major +8 player Cleaner public event, and even Cleaners in missions fighting the other factions
New phone recordings all to do with the various factions encountering and hiding from the Cleaners
New dialogue from NPCs relating to the Cleaner Global Event
Timed and themed Cleaner events across the LZ and DZ that reward classified gear and can occur in multiple tiers of difficulty; the higher the difficulty of encounter, the more classified drops you'd get. They won;t all be HVT type encounters (Go here and kill dudes), but themed around ideas of what the Cleaners are likely to do if the gain a foothold over the city, similar to the Contaminated events.
During this time LZ Cleaner strongholds and land marks could also appear.

The Division is an RPG and should stop holding itself back with the veil of realism, or from straying too far from reality.
There are kneepads that make you gun shoot harder and auto-tracking wallclimb nuke balls; RPG is in.
The Division has already strayed from realism a long time ago, now is the time to amp up the RPG.

I agree they need to be creative and utilize the large world they created and add to the story. All that space is wasted after you level because you only go back there to do the supply cache or to hunt bosses. Why can't they have new event bosses out there or new event story missions? They limit their own content to nothing but instances that everyone that's played the game for a short period of time has done countless times.

Why don't these classified gear pieces drop on any bosses? The reward system for doing heroics is complete garbage because there's no difference between doing anything else because you can get the same gear off a random mob running around. The only thing that's different is a weekly exotic cache.

And, stuff like this pisses me off... As I said above I need one piece from each set and I just opened 6 caches and got 4 Banshie backpacks. 4 FFS. Let me trade these for the piece i want or buy it cause as of now I'm done with this ****.

You burn your player base out and then wonder why there's only 1000 players on after the event.
