    Deadeye or Sentry

Currently I'm using the MDR, SVD, and Historian as a DMR. With this in mind I have been going over what might be a solid build. Not great at head shots because everyone is moving around too quickly. Suggestions/Ideas?

    Thank You.

I use a 6 piece sentry shield build.
Tanky, pistol for close range, MDR for Mid range and high DPS, and an SVD for long range.
It's by far the most powerful build I own and have seen so far in game for PvE.

Deadeye 6 piece, and deadeye in general has been neutered so much that it's a pain to use now in PvE.
    I woudn't recommends deadeye 6 piece.

Sentry Shield Build? I thought the D3-FNC was the standard Shield build. If you use your shield you use the SMG-9 instead of a pistol, correct?

You can do more damage with an MDR / Sentry than you can with a M700 Deadeye. I've had headshot crits in the millions, even hitting over a million on headshots without a crit.

Well he's talking PvE where getting headshots consistently is a tad easier, if you get close enough to the NPCs you bust your shield out for survivability and start pegging them with headshots and let the Sentry marks stack up your damage.

You can use a pistol at all distances and use whatever weapon to finish them off. It isn't like Strikers were bad accuracy hurts you.

As I stated above, I'm not that great at "Headshots" because I'm always on the move, or the enemy is always on the move. I'm talking more in the line of PVE not PVP. PVP I have a totally different set up for that. I like the Sentry Build very much, but if I'm not landing headshots, I'm losing a lot in my weapon’s performances. IE most of the attributes of the weapons I use are grayed out because there not making the requirements. So, I need to choose my weapons that are much more responsive. And that doesn’t leave too much to work with.

Gonna have to adapt, my friend. You get a huge spike in damage once you get six stacks.

Deadeye was good... when Sentry wasn't out.

That is why said pistol rapid fire and accuracy doesn't punish you. Use a shotgun, still works with sentry. Use a scope and since sentry is only good for PVE you will be ok.
