I used rebel support on my second attempt, but forgot to call them in before the fight started on my third go! Managed to kill Predator on my third attempt though. As others have said, the rock and tree around the ammo box are vital. I crouched by the rock, waited for Predator to open fire on my team mates (AI), then identified and hit him with a short burst (using the Mk249). Back to cover and waited for the same thing to happen. Perhaps it was my imagination, but the Predator attacks seemed to become more frequent just before he went down. I deliberately didn't reload in order to gauge just how many bullets the Predator would take to kill. I fired about 120 rounds from the Mk.249 and I'm pretty sure most of those connected.
I initially went to the AI team mates when they got downed, but I got taken out whenever I did, so I left the AI to fend for themselves (and draw fire!).
He's aggravating to beat, but entirely doable with a little luck (his TTK later into the fight is kind of absurd). The best strategy is to hug the trees and hill close to the ammo box as that gives you the most options for leading his guided shot into geometry instead of your face. Other than that, do it with as many ppl as possible for that optimal DPS and call in rebels before triggering him as the Predator sometimes targets them with his tracking shot.
