I wasn't offended, I was asking for clarification. Every day I see people on these forums complaining that "the game is unplayable" when what they really mean is something relatively minor.
"Unplayable" implies you aren't able to play the game, due to game-breaking bugs, server issues etc. Having only 15 waves instead of endless hordes does not make the game "unplayable", since you can obviously play up to 15 waves. That's why I said you should endeavor to be precise about what you actually mean. The devs can't make improvements if your description of the problem is as vague as "game is unplayable".
Excellent points.Originally Posted by SixKeys Go to original post
Those are good points. And could be applied to the devs decision to only make the first 15 waves playable.Originally Posted by SixKeys Go to original post
They said "endless waves". They were not precise in their description. Endless waves are not playable.
And I do not doubt they already know this. So I guess I'm really just reduced to venting.
I spent hours giving detailed feedback about the flaws with the combat system. That bayek has not been truly augmented, and if they put too many opponents on the field or made them too aggreessive or too powerful, bayek wouldn't be able to cope. He simply doesn't have the tools.
Then horde mode comes along as if to say ,"we know and we don't care."
So I suppose my desire to be precise or constructive or nice is gone. I'm sure it's falling on deaf ears anyway.
Yep. I expected so much more from this.Originally Posted by SethUnleashed Go to original post
Increasing enemy levels every 2nd wave isnt the right thing to do horde/survival modes. Especially with heavy penalties for being 3+ levels below enemy level.
Boss fights every 5-10 would be nice. More variety between waves, different compositions, bigger hoards of weak enemies. And ofc enemy level cap. Right now this "endless" mode is basicallu hard capped by enemies severely outleveling you at one point.
