    Thanks for Horde Mode...

...but after wave fifteen I'm dying in one hit by one arrow and I know I can't get any further, so there's no point in playing it after the first two attempts I made. Maybe don't allow the enemies to spawn four levels above us, and just send in more enemies at level forty, plus bosses. Nobody thinks losing is fun, afaik. You called it Horde. You could have done fifty waves with a boss wave every ten like the other guys who made Horde mode years ago. It would be one thing if it were possible to continually increase defense, or character level, but instead, you chose to only give us the option to increase damage of weapons. And tools. Because tools is the first thing that comes to my mind as important over more defense. Especially when some thought actually went into making enemies go above and beyond my ability to level... What could go wrong, right?

    Ideas for Horde:

    - Raise level cap to sixty (for added replay) (or 100, why stop at 60?)
    - Cap enemies at current character cap of forty
    - Raise level cap and cap enemies at character cap
    - Why have a cap at all? I've honestly never understood this in games. Especially in a game with difficulty levels, that is SP-only. Diablo did a great job of this with Paragon levels and it can be played cooperatively, online with other players! It's 2017. Caps and limitations have no business in games.

Also, did I notice that when Horde mode first launched, I was getting exp from individual enemies, and now I'm not? Poor show. More limitations and reason to stop playing.

agreed, "horde" mode isnt really what its called.

enemies could level with you slower and the "bigger boss every x levels" would be fun.

hey, why not use the phylakes as mini-bosses?

and then cap enemies at level 42, so they are tougher, but dont one-hit you and also dont take 5 minutes to kill xD

    Hey,

we really appreciate the feedback and ideas to improve the horde mode. I'm curious to see what other players think of it.

I personally like the idea to have phylakes as mini-bosses! That would be dope!

Hopefully something changes. As of right now, it's not really worth the effort knowing I'm just going to die at a certain wave.

You know what would really be cool and a real improvement to horde mode? A desirable reward for completing a certain amount of waves, just like the outfits we got for completing the arena. And do you know what would've been the perfect reward? That cool looking gladiator outfit your bosses want us to pay real money for

But maybe something else in the future? Oh well, a man can only dream.

I would suggest making the conscious decision to make it playable.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

Seriously, whoever is making the decision to take a video game to the point where it is literally unplayable really ought to be working in movies or something. Not video games which are meant to be played, not just watched.

Some elementary logic would go a really long way here.

Instead of snarking, you could try actually being constructive. What do you mean by "literally unplayable"? The game works fine for most people. Are you referring specifically to Horde mode? If so, what are your problems with it?

Personally, I haven't tried Horde mode yet but it's slightly disappointing to hear it's not actually endless. AC Brotherhood's VR Room managed to give players an endless horde mode almost 8 years ago. Why not Origins?

"Literally unplayable" for some people means "doesn't meet my exact preferred specifications."

Well, since this is a post about horde mode. And I quoted someone who was asking for feedback about horde mode, it would be pretty safe to assume I was talking about horde mode.

It's not endless because once you get to wave 16 or 17, the enemies are so powerful that you can't damage them, and you get one shotted.

Yes, I was being snarky. But in this case, being snarky about making a game mode playable actually is constructive. It really is a no brainer.

If you say "endless waves" then make it playable. If you only want to give us 15 waves, then just say so.

Making the next wave impossible isn't constructive or challenging or even interesting in any way. In fact, it's at least as snarky as I was being.

I'm sorry you took offense. Unless you are the person who made the decision, in which case, you were supposed to be offended.
