I'm surprised that people still care about this. There are plenty of items to be looted by simply playing the game, which, arguably, look and perform better than the stuff you can buy. Some of the things do not belong in an AC game in the first place (Unicorns, flaming horses, etc), so again no idea why anyone would want them or complain about having to buy them. Even more so, the game has been out for a while now. I have completed 99% weeks ago. There's nothing left to do there for me personally, so again I see no reason to buy some pack. Yeah they do these events or whatever. I open the game, kill that god in 6 minutes and then go back to playing Watch_Dogs (or whatever else once I'm done with that one too) lol.
It's a single player game with an end, why do people treat it like some kind of an mmo and pretend that those paid items are some kind of an "end-game goal". They're not. They're fluff for the whales that can be ignored very easily in an SP game.
MTX can be either "evil" or "meh whatever" depending on how they're implemented. If they're nearly-a-must for the sake of progression then it's "evil". If it's just some random item no better than hudnreds that are obtainable by playing the game then it's a ",eh whatever". In AC Origins they really do not matter, IMO these posts belong on EA and Activation forums.
