I can't access the public test... It comes up with error 2-00000305 and tells me it can't connect to the servers... I'm playing on the PC. Is this because of an error or because the server has reached the cap of 40000, as it said there would be in the FAQ?

    AGHHHHH. That's so frustrating!

Apparently the public test isn't under the same "public test" name on steam. So I just downloaded the old public test, not the new free one. That's so crap! Now I've got to wait 8 more hours and that means I can't do all 8 public orders!

I'm going to try to speed up the download speed by copying the old files across into the new folder then downloading. Hopefully with the bulk of the files there it'll be more like an update than a full download...

Edit: Somewhat successful. Cut it down to 3 hours... Should have about an hour to get the daily orders done... :\

It is not showing the proper reputation for your characters

It is using old data that they collected probably about a week ago. So do we even get updated credit towards our characters while we are using this open test. It would be b******* if we don't. They have their customers spend way too much time and then try and Bilk us out of money to pay extra for this game to enhance our experience(Money Grab). We better not be getting screwed over by Ubisoft again. They need to say something in regards to them using the old data and what type of experience we get towards our characters because this is getting to be b*******. They want us to help them fix their servers and do s*** for them when all they do is make us have to spend long hours to gain reputations for one character. Then charge you $5,000 for an emblem and 15,000 for a damn suit for your character they should at least be gaining you extra experience points or something in the process. But that would go against everything Ubisoft stands for which is stealing your money or making you play hours upon hours to earn minuscule crap. This is definitely the last game I will ever purchased from Ubisoft

Can we at least get a response from a Ubisoft /for Honor guy

Somebody from Ubisoft should come up here and start answering questions and making this process easier for its customers. I was able to find it at the Microsoft store through my Xbox you type in open test for Honor, or for Honor open test and it should come up, you'd think they would at least tell you how to find it and access it to make it easier on you but no they really don't give a damn about you. They are alienating their customer base to the umpteenth degree. It shouldn't take so many weeks of actual time playing to to rep out a single character. That should be illegal. And then any little piece of anything they want to charge you money for just to make your characters rep a little bit fastet you can spend money and buy Champion status we will sell you a hundred fifty thousand coin for $100. Then they raise the price of the ghost face mask to 20000. There needs to be a lot more outcry cuz I everybody I talk to is pissed about what Ubisoft and for honor is doing to its customer base trying to extract extra money out of us and giving us a subpar product. Because everybody I've spoken with is going to immediately leave this game the next time a sword fighting game comes out from another company. Just on the assumption that it's going to be better than For Honor. The game at its core is obviously a fun game or why the hell would we all be playing it. But getting kicked all the time and not even getting any credit for all the XP that you've accrued that is then lost because of Ubisoft bul**** servers. Then comes there in your face cash grab when they try and get you to pay and shell out extra money for a game you already spent $70 or more on. This is complete ********.

And when the hell are they going to Nerf the Conqueror more so

A conquer should NOT be able to jump on you and hit you once and take away all your stamina when you're a shaman and you can't recover it at all you just die, that is ********. Fix your damn game

+++ 4v4 matches were smooth and all
    - sometimes there is some sort of lag for me, giving me less time to react to an enemies attack (however this happened not often)

Overall a way better experience, no more disconnects or host migration.
But I dont think i play 15 games everyday, thats a real timekiller!

Was trying to get into a 44 tribute match and my screen has been frozen for about 6-7

Not experiencing any lag but cannot exit from this screen. Basically what you experience all the time while playing regular For Honor

Since July, when we announced For Honor would be moving from its Peer-to-Peer infrastructure to a Dedicated Servers model, our development team has been working tirelessly to implement the system you’ve been hoping for. We’ve already performed hundreds of hours of testing internally and externally, and now are ready to take the next step. So begins our Open Test, a 4 day long, multi-platform stress test happening simultaneously on all platforms, including Steam. You don’t even need to own For Honor to participate in putting our new architecture to the test, so tell your friends!

    Official Open Test Dates:

    • Preload: December 13th @ 13:00 UTC (8:00 EST)
    • Test Start: December 14th @ 13:00 UTC (8:00 EST)
    • Test End: December 18th @ 01:00 UTC (December 17th 20:00 EST)

If you were planning on playing For Honor this weekend, we highly suggest downloading the Open Test build and playing there. We’ve established a number of rewards (http://ubi.li/rvd8y) which will grant you more Steel and Crates than you could earn in the same time in the main game. There will also be a number of physical swag rewards going out to lucky winners*, so don’t miss this!

The For Honor Open Test Raffle is open only to legal residents of USA, Canada (including Quebec), Australia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, UK, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, China, Japan, and Russia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry, and is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, municipal, territorial and local laws, directives and regulations.

We can’t wait to continue For Honor’s evolution with Dedicated Servers. Your feedback brought us here, now help us get over the finish line!
