I got a USB headset with a microphone (Kingston HyperX Cloud 2)
The mic is not working in a game, because a headset is pluged into USB port.
Please make some patch or whatever for a game to recognize a USB mics !!!

so 2 usb input devices....why wouldnt you want to use the headset mic? that would be 100x clearer than a desktop mic

I AM using a headset !!! The mic IS ON the headset, and game does not see it.

Hey, smukman. Please make sure that your microphone is selected as the default device in Windows by navigating through the following menus: Sound > Playback devices > Recording. If necessary you can also try to reinstall your microphone drivers. Let me know if this continues to be an issue!

It is selected as default. It is not only my problem. On the internet forums many people have same problems. USB microphones just does not working.
Someone wrote, that on beta they worked, but now they won't.

I have the same problem. i cant use my Xbox 360 controller headset via usb. Please resolve it.

Same situation on Kingston HyperX Cloud II (KHX-HSCP-RD). I am not able to use microphone in Wildlands. I raised a ticket on this too (05725030). Lets make it official.
