I'm curious as to why the normal palm swipe on my Galaxy Note 3 doesn't take a screenshot while I'm using SPPD.

Hi, AlbertWFox! You should be able to take screenshots on the Galaxy Note 3. Have you tried holding down the Home button and the Power button simultaneously?
