I figure I would post this to let everyone know that you cannot grind single player levels for too long, I completed level one episode two max 15, and once that is done, you cannot go back to open the lockers for loot so be aware to grind wisely. Maybe we can ask development time to change this, but I have a feeling it was designed so eventually you hit a wall and once new cards come out you will have to pay to upgrade them.
I just replied to your comment on the other thread, and I think this comment is deserving of it's own. That is good information because the cards to level up are as important as the characters cards themselves. It does slow progression vs games of a similar nature. I am assuming by "pay" you mean using Gold and PvP tickets to buy support items. That can make a person have to decide between grabbing 2 epics from the shop, buying gold, or items and certainly slows progression.Originally Posted by Jamosite Go to original post
I can see the cash grab element, but with the majority of the player base being FTP, everyone will hit that wall with level 5/6 cards and skill will take over. When they release new cards I can see it being difficult to level them up quickly to add to a deck (unless you pay real money). I have $21 total right now. I will probably spend more, but for now I am satisfied where I am considering my play rate (much less than most).
You are very correct about having to be careful with the PVE levels and not wasting battles. I will keep that in mind and specialize my cards for each color type, leveling up only what I will supplement my deck with. I am the same way with buying packs...I'd rather refresh my PvP for 45 then spend 700 on a gold pack. (most of the time PvP packs award 10-15 cash...recouping some of what is spent).
