As the title describes, I have had many problems with the GB mechanic for a while now and I haven’t seen it brought up recently. Many times when I initiate a Gb the opponent tried to do the same but Just slightly after me: Before my character even starts the break of the guard he is Gb right out of it. If I start the GB first, if at any point the Gb animations would overlap, they need to push off of each other like normal clashes.
I didn’t make a video of it, I will next time though. I have had a couple times where I’ve mashed the GB when in a crazy situation and it has CGB immediately, but it would be impossible to do this on reaction if you aren’t Mashing the GB button like a maniac, and even then sometimes it still doesn’t cgb. Sometimes you’re just frozen into the Gb animation and the mashing doesn’t even work out. It’s really frustrating. They need to make defined frames which both will bounce of like normal when GB is initiated simultaneously on both ends or CGB. The fact that you can Gb someone out of a GB at all is rediculous.
