    New bug in 1.8 w/Tac @ Madison??

    When grinding for my Weekly I usually do Madison Field Hospital on hard, and have a mega-skill build using Tactician's Authority just for solo missions. (I love those Rioters).

    Since the 1.8 release if I enter the elevator with any skill buff queued it will erase erase/clear when I reach the top.

    More detail: in the open hospital area that's the arena floor my turret clears the Rioters out mostly by itself, easily uilding my skill buff up to the 30% maximum. I hop in the elevator to go up to Koby's, the screen darkens as the next level loads, and when it comes back up the buff is cleared and I'm back to my base skill power.

    I have successfully reproduced this every time I do the mission.

    Can anyone else replicate this? If so, how do we report this to Massive?

    Amendment to this query: looks like it's not just this particular location, but anything that triggers a load event erases the skill buff. I would often complete one mission of Madison, fast travel back to the start and do it again. Now doing so sets me back to my base skill power. Fast traveling to the Terminal clears any queued skill buff. Pretty much anything that loads a new area.

    Previously unused skill buff remained unless I changed load outs or exited the game. I read nothing about this in the release notes so I assume someone broke Tactician's Authority on the 1.8 update.

    I guess Tac is not a popular gear set? I can reproduce this with 100% reliability, so I don't believe it's just me, but the complete lack of responses makes me think no one else is using TA so they have not seen it.

    C'mon Massive. This is a PITA losing the skill power buff on any fast travel of level loading. The only load screens I have found (so far) that do NOT erase the buff is in and out of DZ checkpoints or safe houses. Everything and anything else, it's gone.

    i remember they disabled the ability to stack up in the shooting range before leaving BoO but I don't recall anything about losing stacks after loading into a new screen

    wouldnt surprise me if they silently killed it in the update. Good news and Bad news on TA that ive noticed is...Good news---The bonus seems to stack really, really fast through weapon damage now. I can literally get a 30 stack from one NPC, sometimes even red ones. Bad news--The stack building has no doubt been nerfed from the Pulse Turret. That thing used to be a stacking monster but now its pretty slow but at least they gave it back to us, i think they took that away completely in the PTS but i could be wrong.

    Yes, stacks are now cleared in lifts and when fast travelling. It's a silent nerf.

    I run 6 piece Classified Strikers, I lose stacks between any engagement. Once the grey bars disappear on my radar, the stacks are dropped immediately. What I need to check is if the count is 2 stacks a second instead of one now because I just noticed this last night.

    That is by design. Striker does not maintain stacks between encounters. TA is supposed to.

    Not an apples-for-apples comparison. Striker stacks start dropping off on a time base after you stop shooting (I think it was 2 points every second, but not certain), and immediately clear when you exit combat mode. Tac stacks are supposed to stay until the next time you use a skill - assuming you don't change your load out or exit the game first.

    Pre-1.8 I could return to the terminal and unload some loot to clear my inventory, go back and re-start a mission again with my previous stack still there. Now just fast-travelling to the terminal clears it.
