Why do the character devs have such a hard-on for fast annoying characters? They came up with three perfectly good vanguards and three perfectly good heavies for the original game. Why didn't we see any more of those types in the extra release characters?
I enjoy playing heavy characters and I wanted some more variety to the kinds of heavy characters I could play. All we got was the highlander that's got some heavy qualities. Every other character could arguably be called an assassin rather than a hybrid.
The defence meta was more game design rather than character design related. I mean, assassins can pretty easily just dodge everything and they have the same parry capabilities as any heavy character. The only difference is that their attacks are faster and therefore harder to react to. That doesn't make the game more tactical, it just makes it a game of reflexes.Originally Posted by Ackturi Go to original post
