Any inkling on what exactly each class of Hero, or what each Hero individually, is supposed to do in Tribute Mode? Heavies guard the Homebase, and Assassins are the ones running the Offerings back and forth, but what should the Vanguards be doing?

Distract/intercept enemy runners. Take out the people who run the edges to get to your tribs, cover your allied runners.

Too bad heavies don't score a lot of points/renown since they only get point for defending very near to the tribute or denying someone trying to take one. A steady renown drip would be nice for being near the tribute IF you have been in a fight recently. This way you can't AFK, but the way it is now to me seems like the assassins are running around with level 4 feats while I'm stuck on 2, unless I play a faster class and go for tributes like they do. It really is stunning the difference in points I'll gain between dominion and tribute as a heavy.
