    Agreeeeeed!!

Totally totally agree with this. what happened to the awesome build up, long free running sequences and cinematic assassinations. Unity actually did that really well! I seriously miss that and it runis the game for me when I accidentally kill a target or its just way too easy with no build up. I loved origins but the main assassinations leave a lot too be desired!!! Aya has the best assignation in the game and that is still way too short.

I mean, look at the rundown of each target;

    Spoiler:  Show
    Rudjek- just a cutscene.

Medunamun- I literally killed him by accident while doing a side quest.

Eudoros- okay for the first target, but pretty bare-bones TBH, just climb into the rafters and air assassinate.

Taharqa- the best one, but still no better than any number of the random forts you take over.

Khaliset- annoying boss fight with zero visibility.

Hetepi- was this a joke? Just run up the coughing guy, which you're specifically told to do, and stab him. You don't even have to be stealthy.

Berenike- she's right out in the open with Kensa...

    Flavius- forced boss fight.

    Septimius- forced boss fight.

    Caesar- glorified QTE.

It didn't help, either, that aside from Taharqa and maybe Khaliset, all of the targets were extremely underdeveloped, even with the side quests.

You know, this got me thinking...

    Spoiler:  Show

The Hidden Ones actually felt kinda refreshing after Origins in that it did feel like a more traditional AC game. Obviously with different pacing since it was a DLC (you pretty much had most of your targets from early on). Kinda felt like the Bonfire of the Vanities, a little bit.

    In need of story summary

Spoiler alert for game quest details I want to see where I stand with others on my interpretation on the story line and what sense it’s making to me personally and Ubisoft if I’m not comprehending politely let me know of it I would love to finish my second round on the jungle gym paying the closest attention possible to subtitles during conversations with Byak and everyone character byak conversates with.
I don’t really know where the story stands as far as the birth or creation of one organization versus the other like The Templar Order is Order of The Ancients and where does the Brotherhood of Assassins come into creation and by whom, or did I completetly daydream through a whole chapter or sequence what ever this games refers to the sections as. I know there are memory’s that take place because you see the protaganoist that is in control of Byak in the animus. So there is some sort of memories that exist.
I guess you come to realize that Assassins Origins come from the name The Templar Order but in the name of the creation name Order of the Ancients mainly sought after in Egypt civilization because Egypt is considered not proven to be one of earths first cizilizations run by the human race. Interesting if you don’t look up information on the story behind this Assassins Creed then most gamers that go through each playable Quest with out listening or reading quest briefs then you will finish the game wondering”ok how is this the originally story behind all Assassins games. I started this game knowledgeable on all created Assassin Titles except the movie because it was playable but all the other cinematic titles before the main movie I’ve seen briefly, anyway I started Origins on a waiting to hear about the creation side of the brotherhood of Assassins or The Templar Order first born Assassin that created what we know and love now that I would say the series cannot possibly go any where else except forward 200 to 500 in the future, oh wait can’t do that because the future isn’t hear yet and we need historical facts and locations or it isn’t a Creed game because of the nonfiction anomaly behind the genius creation of Assassins Creed Series thank you to all at Ubisoft that had contact with all the Creeds you made my fantasy nerdy dorky ness show a lot while trying to top 100% of the game progression. And one more thing was The Templar Order and The Brotherhood of Assassins both part of the birth of The creators that were known as Order of the Ancients a little confused because the name seems like it was The Templar Order but if so what was the name behind the Brotherhood organization. I might be way more off then I’m aware of please be kind and inform me because I’m not yet done with the main quest yet second trip around but I will finally get it after this time around the jungle gym of parkour have fun. Oh and I’m not a fantasy freak or a nerd in any way please don’t read this and picture me as a guy with parted hair and broken but taped glasses I’m actually a ragged looking gamer with a style of punk slash hip hop on fleek lol lol lol I’m jk think what you want of my recovery heroin addict *** I been thought of worse by the worst in my life.

After having put more than 100 hours in the game (I freaking love it) I can say that Origins is a FANTASTIC open world game that, at times, rivals the likes of the Witcher 3 or GTA but at the same time it feels like a "mediocre" and bare bones "Assassin experience".

So I agree with you, loyal. I mean, this game -to me at least- blows Unity and Syndicate out the water as a whole to a point the point comparing them is almost offensive to Origins and so it has been received. However those two games have WAY better pure AC mechanics, no Origins target comes close to some of the really good assassinations Syndicate and Origins had.

Geez! I wonder what happened to Sixkeys and Loyal himself, haven't seen them in a while.

The forums have been so quiet I haven't been visiting often. I don't know if lots of people are still working their way through Origins or what, but the lack of proper discussion (that isn't about events or bugs) is unusual for an AC game, especially one this well received and one that already has two substantial DLCs. It makes me think people aren't as invested in the story as the open world. At least that's the case for myself, which is a shame.

    Indeed!

The story was ok, I guess, nothing to call home, mostly taking into consideration the whole supposed "origins" thing but I like it. The world though, a true highlight that can be compared to those of The Witcher 3, GTA or Red Dead Redemption.

    Hope you are doing fine!

I was sneaking around an noticed someone on a veranda, did a head-shot with the predator bow form about 90+ meters, and suddenly i just had to confirm a kill to end a mission?

There is not a single mission where you desync for being spotted. You can always just ride overpowered in an hack down everything.
