    Gear Score Discrepancy

1.8 day one when i fully optimized my sentry classified build (+ weapons) my total gear score was 291. i received a delta after playing for like 2 hrs or so and when i logged back on my gs went down to 290. i double checked @ the optimization station if something bugged out and/or needs to be optimized again, but everything is still maxed out.

here is the current score for each max'd out class. sentry gear piece of mine:
    chest 292
    mask 293
    pads 290
    pack 289
    gloves 293
    holster 295
    all 3 weapons 286
    = gs 290

btw, my non-optimized reclaimer class. backpack w/ less armor and worse stats is @ score 290 while my optimized sentry pack has a score of 289? something can't be right here

i agree, but as we keep building opti class builds i bet itll make more sense.

There's logic behind it, UBI-logic, so they'll have to explain.

For example, in my Reclaimer Classy set, I have two Chest pieces with at this point the same armor, 1943, one of two of the same majors, 9% Skill Haste, and both have 56% ammo capacity. The difference, one has 4% All Resistance and only has 1374 Stamina while the other has 11% Exotic Dmg Resil and has 1401 Stamina but is gear scored 283 while the other is 289.

It would seem there's some logic to which is the better stat to choose in your recals that's correlating to GS. On my Sentry set, if I changed Critical Hit Chance to EAD, even at maxed EAD the GS I believe was lower.

The question I would put to them is, are particular stats given higher weight towards gear score total than others? As well, from what I've seen so far, every piece is continually optimizable until it has reached its max, either Armor or all stats chosen. Can that be verified or is there a specific # of optimizations that can be made, like how weps could only be rerolled 5 times or some such?

hmm, that could be it..still it doesn't explain though why my total gear score went from 291 down to 290. anyway, this 'system' seems to be pretty complex - i wouldn't be surprised if this optimization station thing isn't 100% optimized yet

for comparison purposes could anyone who has a 6 pc classified fully optimized sentry set post his stats please (score for each gear piece aso)

Same thing happened to me and my Striker build, fully optimized 15 minutes after 1.8 was released GS 290 logged off to go to work came home and it was 289. Nothing changed in the build between before I left for work and when I got home.

I reported that numerous times already...

Altrought GS differences between different gear pieces could be understood (they are different items, with different stats and number of them, sometimes it gets even better :

2 Classified Masks, when fully optimized, can have a different GS, while the stats are identical...

The system isn't clear, that's the problem.

    Example:
Reclaimer Holster A: 1401 FA, 1385 ST, 1401 EL, 7% Skill Haste, Armor value of 1001. Gear Score 292-293. Not yet fully optimized.

Reclaimer Holster B: 1401 on all stats, 7% Skill Haste, Armor Value of 962 ish. Gear Score, 289.

I've even had to pairs if chest pieces with the exact same values: 1401 main Stat, 11% EDR and 9% Skill Haste with 1943 Armor and the game assigns a different GS? I'd have to look to see how far either chest had/has been optimized, but the point remains, it's unclear how the system is working and why after and optimization I can see the additional GS on the individual piece, and even the GS reflection in my loadout, but after leaving the Inventory Screen or changing loadouts, it's readjusted the GS again? Maybe the intent is to have an ever fluctuating GS so we feel as if we're progressing?

Hey guys this is a known issue that has been brought up. The team is still working on it but no known updates as of late.

My Striker 6 pieced classified and all three weapons have been fully optimized, max gear score was 290. Reached level 28 on Pier 93 Resistance, after that mission, went back to BOO, low and behold, my gear score was 291. Definitely something glitchy going on.
