I was wondering what gear stats the community has settled into after season 4 with the new stat sets available. I've got 3 sets I use for all of the characters with minor variation.
Layout 1:
"Tri Stat" gear in every slot.
Layout 2:
"Dual Stat"
Exhaust/Debuff
R.Duration/R.Defense
Cost/Regen
Attack/Block
Attack/Execute
R.Gain/R.Attack
Layout 3:
"Single Stat"
Exhaust/Debuff
R.Defense/R.Duration
Cost/Regen
Attack/DefPen
Attack/Execute
Attack/R.Attack.
Layout 2 is designed to get Revenge as frequently as possible for as long as possible.
Layout 3 is built with the dump-stats in mind.
Because of the severe negatives in Defense from any one part, there's no sense investing in regular Defense at all.
I find with Exhaust maxed out, I dont fear Stamina damage as much, making Debuff needless beyond bleed damage. With Cost maxed out I struggle to gas myself to begin with.
Block damage isnt happening as either second or third stat in this build so I chose DefPen as second because you can really feel when someone's wearing armor. Everyone else melts though.
Between Execution and Revive speed, there's really no difference, you're not going to be able to rely on either stat.
With Revenge Gain as the primary dump stat on the third piece, popping Revenge is only done to survive ganks and escape, not to turn the tide of battle. It's meant to deal all of its damage outside revenge.
Ideally I play 3rd Layout in dominion rooms full of turtles, with as many healing feats as any one class allows.
On Heavies, I'll trade 2nd Layout's Execution Health Regen for Single-Stat Revive speed with Speed Revive, and Regenerate. You haven't lived until you've picked up 3 mates after an In-stamina heavy parry. You immediately transform into an undying adds raid boss. Spam Emotes from the back row, push, and rez.
