Correct. That's what I'm doing this time around. Research what others have to say about X company oy Y company. What I can confirm, (And I wish I could get it out to a larger venue like having Taylor Swift's twitter account) that Origin is just there to grab your money. Once they have it, (even though if you bought an extended warranty for around 200-400 dollars) they leave you hanging out in the wind.

thats exactly why i bought my laptop thru amazon!!! manufacturers will screw you sixways from sunday!! amazon will cut throats to keep customers happy!! unless their policy has changed, their 4yr system insurance plan covers the purchase price of the machine... so... if repairs exceed what you paid, you get a check for what you paid.. if they can fix it.. they just deduct the repairs from what you paid... either way.. its amazon's service center, amazon's customer service team, and geez do they take care of us!
the only advantage i see with digital storm/origin.. IF you were to buy a laptop.. is that they use desktop CPUs on their laptops... aside from that, on a desktop system..... its all the same parts, the difference is that digital storm, origin, other guys... are buying the parts whereas lenovo, MSI.. they make the parts and therefore.. theres no middle man!
