Mazda MX-5 Circuit Spec - A massive disappointment (IMO)

Today marks the day that the Mazda MX-5 (Circuit Spec) has been added and I wasn't expecting much from it, except for it to have brakes that aren't completely rubbish. But I was completely let down when that was the case, it's more than capable of competing with all of best Circuit Spec cars in the game but it's made completely useless because of it's braking power. This is completely unacceptable...

This will probably never get fixed, but it should be...

So it's not a competetive car then, too bad.
Either you like it for what it is or you don't, there's no need for all cars to be competetive to like them.

It's a nice add! one of the lightest in the C spec cars -with the Mini cooper, but in a different way of course.
Feeling it as fun as capable.

I'm not mad that it's not competitive, I am mad that this is an issue that was introduced into the game a year ago and still has yet to be addressed. That and it shows that it's a lazy attempt to create balance. Overall the vehicle is extremely good in every aspect, it can even keep up with all of the overpowered Circuit cars if it had good brakes.

The MX-5 Circuit could easily become the go to car to run circles around the 458 Circuit, if they just simply make the brakes good. The same could be said for the AMG GT3 and that would mean that the 458 Circuit would no longer be pay to win content.

Realistically there are maybe 1-2 competitive cars per class, the rest of the roster is pure joyride, so I'm not surprised Mazda didn't make it into the list. On the other hand, I really enjoy handling, and very happy about the fact that you can repaint it and add some cosmetic touches, unlike several other cars in the class. Plus cockpit view is quite nice and comfortable.

Well I do have to say that the MX-5 Circuit Spec has a sort of "Easter egg" in the interior...

I would have exchanged breaking for top speed, would have made more sense. My biggest gripe is that the crash camera triggers way too easy when in a freedrive challenge.

I love how it looks, but the stats are lacking for a good use in PvP or for events. But i'm glad we got this. Even if its not a top tier competitive one its a good addition to the game.
