I've been playing Far Cry 3 for a long time and I started playing it again on the PC for the second time with no problems at all. The other day the game froze and I had to reboot my laptop with the power button. Since then the Cloud failed to sync and then things got from bad to worse. Now the game never loads anymore where it keeps on crashing with that tedious Not Responding that is also a common problem. Why has the game been fine for me for years and now it's kaput? I've checked for many hours to find a fix and obviously nothing worked. The top solution is to go where the game is installed, right-click on the launch file and go to Properties, Compatibility and change Windows there. I changed it to Windows 7 as many people suggested and I tried the Windows 8 setting and of course, the game is still kaput through Windows 10. I've also been using Windows 10 since a few months after it was released. I also tried something in Task Manager where some people suggest stopping one of the files. I forgot the name. I also uninstalled the game, the U Play App and I went into Program Files and deleted any Ubisoft and Far Cry 3 traces and re-installed everything again and of course, the game is still kaput. Does anyone have any better suggestions? Thanks
