    Adapting to Season 4

So... I just spent about eight hours playing Dominion over and over. Popped into Duel a few times. And what I've learned from the Season 4 Heroes so far is: NEVER THROW HEAVY ATTACKS. EVER. EVEN WHEN YOU THINK YOU CAN PUNISH SOMEONE, DON'T TRY IT. And, of course, that only comes secondary to the other thing I learned: NEVER TRY TO PARRY ANYTHING EVER AGAIN, AS IT WILL LEAD TO NOTHING BUT FRUSTRATION.

So... I guess both Heavies and Parries have become completely, utterly useless, now?

You're just bad. I'm rep 17 and I parry and heavy all day with my Valk and HL. No problems against shamans. No problems against aramusha. You're not going to land everyone. The point is to learn when you can and can't. This is literally not a problem for anyone. I get executed all day, and parry all day. Go into a single player custom and practice against bots. They're better than you it's a great way to build skill. This is a skill based game, as with all PvP.

Then what does that say about you? A rep 17 can parry and heavy all day and you can't? Practice against some bots dude.

Probably because you're playing against noobs that don't even know what a feint is.

Nope. I play in the middle of the night. Skill Level is open, most matches have at least to rep 30s+, at least one rep 100 every other match. Feints aren't some godly thing.
If you're getting fooled by Feints then practice more.

Do you guys think heavies and parries should be automatic or something??

Fight bots, practice more. Make some French fries so you can throw some of your extra salt on them.

    Ps4.
Not trying to say you're bad overall dude. But this is def over exaggeration. Blame yourself before you blame the game, I've legit never heard anyone complain about this, in game, here, or on the reddit.

What does playing in the middle of the night have to do with anything???

Also nobody said feints were some godly thing. if anything it was implied they were an extremely basic thing but that you played against players so newbie that they weren't aware of such a basic mechanic's existence. They aren't the only thing making parries less useful.

The problem isn't that it's too difficult to execute parries, it's that with the season 4 characters they are less and less useful, if you bothered to actually read the thread you might have gotten that point.

Playing in the middle of the night = less players = less strict skill matching = higher repped/skilled opponents.

    I get the point.
The season 4 characters are new, but they aren't impossible. I parry shamans all day, I heavy shamans all day, I parry Aramusha all day, I heavy aramusha all day.
I practiced on their bots, lvl 2 and 3.
Heavies and parries are not useless, or less relevant. The characters are just new and you're all mad you can't figure them out yet.
So practice against bots, don't come on here and claim that heavies and parries are useless because you can't land them.
