Because they don't want the LZ playable that's a given .

This game is a lie and total garbage, never have I felt so disgusted by a group of Devs and publishers for what they have done to this game..they are worse than EA.

The new system is pretty much landmarks. You get an alert, you go to a spot, you clear it (do what the alert tells you to do), and you get stuff, and the named may drop exotic/Classified. Heck, it is better than landmarks.

About the only thing that's really needed for exploration, is more ammo crates.

Agreed on the ammo crates for those not using the Police Up perk like I do. 10% chance of refilling ammo on a skill kill is great for WSP exploration with the amount of NPCs running around in there.

oic yeah the PTS didn't have the alerts (working from memory!) and a few other things. Definitely going to check it out though, just prefer the roaming aspect like the DZ has.

You can roam around WSP, kill all sorts of mobs, from reds to named elites, and clear alert locations for loot with a chance for Classified and exotic gear. About the only thing missing is extractions, but extractions is a mechanic intended to create tension and conflict among players.

I do like hunters with extractions in PvE survival. That can be tense too.

All they have to do (IMO) is just make the radius larger (so they spawn out of sight) and make the cool-down longer... Like two, three minutes? It's literally 90 seconds, or less.

Small details like this can make the difference between an "OK" product, and a fun and engaging experience.

Played it yesterday for about 3 hrs and I'm very satisfied. I explored both new areas and have had a lot of fun while killing NPCs. The spawn system is extremely cool. If you only run and gun you're dead instantly. You have to play as the game was designt for. As a cover based shooter.

    Fantastic job ... !
