Since today's update (1.16) there's something wrong with the game on Xbox One X. The sound got weird - I played a few matches in both Dominion and Practice mode and it's the same everywhere. Speech / narration is too loud while other sound effects sound like they were echoing. The weapon sounds and character voices are muffled and as if they were in a metal can. The game is not enjoyable in this state. I haven't had this problem before 1.16 at all. Of course I tried restarting the console after the update but it didn't help.

Yes, can confirm sound issues. Downloaded the xbox one x patch and the game sounded like my headphones were tin cans. I loaded a different game and it sounded fine, so I restarted console and loaded For Honor and the issue was fixed. Played a few matches and hit the guide button and lost all game sound. So definitely some sound bugs with this patch.

Edit: After restarting game the tin can sound came back.

Yeah the game is unenjoyable in this state. I hope the information gets to the developers and they will fix it as soon as possible.

Sound issue still there after the latest patch (12/18). I also reported this issue.

Amazingly this problem is not unique to For Honor - I experience it in Assassin's Creed Origins as well! But no other games suffer from this so it's probably not my console / sound system. But in these two Ubisoft games the weapon sounds are totally weird now.

Any update on this? It seems like a patch problem considering I'm not the one who has this issue.
