I will say this - I love the vast majority of this patch. I think it will put the game into a better place. My largest area of concerns lie in 2 gear sets and the balance decisions for them.
#1 - a 45% damage buff to the anti-rogue set. It seems pretty stupid that solid teams are now going to not only be outnumbered (as they have always been) but are going to get hit by players running banshees with the 45% damage buff to the set when they are manhunt. It's going to be a "whomever wipes who comes back and dominates" sort of thing in the DZ.
#2 - Hunters faith seems slightly weak still. I'm surprised a bolt action rifle dmg buff isn't in place instead of more optimal range. I will obviously have to play with it - but I almost want to run my all gold 9k firearms sniper build over this as I can 1 tap players with a booster shot. And now that the stamina is going up - only 10% HS damage doesn't seem like it will have that big of an impact.
I'm looking forward to see how these two builds play out as I think 1 will be grossly OP in the DZ and the other will be UP everywhere.
Hello. Why there is no description in patch notes about ~ 50% shield health nerf? Yesterday in 1.7.2 with 7300 electronics and ~ 261000 Skill Power my Assault shield had ~1 170 000 health. Reactive Targeting shield ~ 2 100 000 health. Why today in 1.8 with same parameters (7300 electronics and ~ 261000 Skill Power) my Assault shield have 650 000 health and Reactive Targeting shield ~ 750 000? Seens game released i play with shield and pistol. I use interesting variations (with decisive talent, bliss colonel holster, ninja bike, etc...) of this object of skill before. What should i do with shield now If i do not like D3-fnc? If i do not need SMG with shield? Why you take off the opportunity to use a shield as skill object? Now i can't play with shield and pistol because it's
useless. All modifications of shield like Assault shield, Reactive Targeting, Kinetic breaker - useless, because shield have no health enough. With incoming damage PVP modificator shield break in 5-6 seconds. Unbelivible.Why do you need destroy shield as skill object wit all modifications of shield to please D3-Fnc which not everyone likes?
Shield HP cap was part of the PTS but they "forgot" to add it to the patch notes. Now only D3 with high Stamina can reach above 1.M HPOriginally Posted by OPEX_KAMA3 Go to original post
Yes it's plain bad, yes it's been discussed during PTS, but as the devs are "happy" with it I guess we just have to play the new meta and say goodbye to stolen signal.
