While I wouldn't mind a test servers for console, they're perfectly fine only being on PC imo.
Siege isn't the only game to have their test servers on pc only, Battlefield, PUBG, etc. do, too. That's just the way it goes, dude.
Besides, even if there were TTSs on console, they only give access to a small amount of people (I assume you think it's open to the public), so you very more than likely wouldn't have access to that either. (therefor this thread is basically pointless)
Battlefield 4 & 1 both have their CTE on all platforms and its not hard to get into them either. The main reason devs don't do this is likely the costs of maintaining extra servers and needing to go through the Cert process for each patch, something that isn't very good for testing purposes.Originally Posted by SynysterZackyV Go to original post
Should Siege have test servers on consoles? Thats for the Devs to decide. Personally dont think its needed.
if they did that they wouldnt be able to analyze performance changes as good as its done on pc leading changes on diffrent hardware setups + devs would have to scale everything down to console level which takes nedles time and effort that can be put into making game better.
we are talking about a company that still has ****ty servers in a games 3rd year. what do u expect?
