    Balancing suggestions

My apologies if I seem mad in this, for I decided to make this after going from 29 to 26 in one day

PVP needs some serious balancing issues that I feel need addressing. Now this isn't about buffing or nerfing cards. It's more to do with the mechanics of the game. I have a few suggestions on what could be done to alter the game and make it feel balanced.

1: A comeback mechanic: Many games I've played ended up being pretty much one sided in comparison to close ones. Many who end up in this scenario feel like just giving up. To counteract this, perhaps there could be a comeback mechanic, whether it is faster battery recovery or troop attack increase to make it so they can comeback, wearing off after they reach the same bars of health.

2: PvP matchups with cards obtained in mind: One reason some lose is because they encounter cards they don't even own, and most of the time, that'll be a legendary. Therefore I think card obtained should be part of the pairing process. So if I dont have say Manbearpig, I dont get paired with those who do.

3: Remove rank demotion: Removing star progress I dont have a deal with. It's mainly when I lose so much I lose a rank. It wouldn't matter if rewards weren't affected by it. I mentioned before I dropped down 3 ranks because I kept on encountering players who had a clear advantage on me, so it annoys me even more when I lose progress for something I have little control over.

Hopefully at least one of these are considered into the game.

    Please fix PvP.

This is pretty much the majority of my experience since hitting level 22 in PvP and then dropping down to level 20 and getting stuck there: https://imgur.com/a/5tXWZ I figured after it happened enough times I would eventually get dropped to a level with players I could beat so I could have a fair chance to get all my PvP packs every day but instead I'm stuck at level 20 because I got lucky one day but couldn't drop back down any further. I used to do better but now I'm getting overwhelmed almost every match I enter to the point that I'm about ready to quit. I preregistered to get this game and downloaded it the day it was released but now I'm getting disappointed. I hardly have any PvP tickets now and I doubt I'm even going to complete the PC principal event. Please make some changes to PvP. I like South park and this is the first South park game I've ever played and now I'm getting frustrated. I feel that this is eventually going to stop my single player campaign when I get to the great play wall of China in the mystical chapter of the campaign.

Update: It turns out either I'm on another lucky streak this afternoon or I finally found the right combination of cards before going to bed last night. I've started having a few more wins today than I've had in the past one or two weeks of getting my *** handed to me. Maybe my WiFi is working better this time of day or something. For accuracy I've taken to, (if I can hit the screenshot button in time), taking photos of my results at the end of my latest matches in an attempt to see if it was the game putting me up against players that were too tough for me or I was mistaken and it was just a poor deck build after all.

Update: I managed to beat the PC event. I had to make a couple of changes to my Deck. My WiFi made it harder for me to win but also I felt sometimes it took me too long to get a win. I said I would post photos so here they are: https://imgur.com/a/5y3z3 (never mind I can't get the link to work) there are some wins and losses missing but I got what I could.

Probably won't happen. some people playing the game make mistakes and they shouldn't be rewarded for them. That's like being in a car race, falling behind because you repair your tires and now you get a boost of speed to compensate. I win most of my games based on people's mistakes. You just have to learn how to spot them and capitalize on them. For example, always have at least 2 headhunters in your deck for the following reasons:
    1. They will be drawn more often.
    2. After playing for about the first 10 seconds, both players are usually spent on energy. What you do with, say a Dougie, is use it right AFTER your opponent places another card down. Your opponent may not be able to stop Dougie in time to do at least one hit.

2: PvP matchups with cards obtained in mind: One reason some lose is because they encounter cards they don't even own, and most of the time, that'll be a legendary. Therefore I think card obtained should be part of the pairing process. So if I dont have say Manbearpig, I dont get paired with those who do.
Probably won't happen either. It will make matchmaking more difficult and longer to complete. Work your way to gettng Unholly Combustion. I played against someone who had Manbearpig who laughed as soon as he placed him. I Unholy Combusted him and laughed back. Did it twice that game and won. Gave him a Cartman Two Thumbs Up.

You shouldn't concern yourself with rank too much. Going up in rank only benefits by the rewards, which are really trivial. I'm pretty sure matchmaking is based strickly on rank. If you continue to progress, wouldn't it make sense that you should be fighting more difficult players?

There are some caveats to playing games like this that most players don't really notice. The only reason I really play pvp is for the events and the free cards. The rewards are awful and I always think you should be allowed even 1 locker for every bar removed from your opponent as a reward regardless of win or lose. But if you are having problems beating people, then maybe you are at the peak of your deck's performance? If you really need the wins, then just lose as many as it takes to get to the point where you are beating other players, because that is probably what is happening to you right now.

I got as high as rank 28 and I get pushed back to 24. No big deal. I don't really care about ranking up to get 100 coins anyways. But here's a few tips I noticed in my losses in pvp:

    1. Use Tanks and Assassins in combination. Place the tank, let it get attacked, then place your assassins in position to take out the opponent beating up on the tank. I believe that a tank/assassin combo will win out a fighter/fighter combo easily, as long as you place second.

    2. when you are overrun, let them kill your bar. it will probably destroy most of them. focus on spending your energy on the next wave of attack rather than letting your guys get damaged AND losing a bar at the same time.

    3. don't throw everything you have at the leader when the leader is almost losing a bar. he'll just wipe out all your guys when that bar is destroyed. again, focus on the next wave of attack.

    4. sometimes defense is a good offense. If you have your opponent down one bar, all you have to do is let time run out. play defense and just defend your leader if you can. don't spend energy when you don't need to. I won many times like this. Just like in chess, if you are up 1 pawn, then you start trading down piece for piece until nothing is left, you'll be left with a King and a pawn, while your opponent only has their King. You eventually win.

I get where you're coming from, but I have a few issues with what you say.

1: In terms of your response to my comeback suggestion. I get that sometimes it can be a mistake, but many times it's not a mistake but the pairing you get. Sometimes they play a card that destroyes your troop too fast, wasting energy like Hookhand Clyde even if you played it smart. I also have trouble with your headhunter suggestion, mainly due to decks I encounter needing other cards to counter e.g: Needing to remove mind control, ones with 4 are frail and the stronger ones cost a lot, and the last thing you want is something to potentially fail and be costly.

2: Unholy combustion is good, but it's not good enough, you may not draw it and by the time you do, you tend to have your troops killed and them having more than the one causing you trouble. Even then, it can hit the wrong target and be a waste. Also even if you use at the right time, you need to recover still leavin you open.

3: Yeah it is expected to fight harder players as you carry on, but I'm feeling a big difference between you fighting someone who got there normally, and one who got a bunch of level 2 legendarys and level 4 rares and commons likely through money, in comparison, only a few of of my troups could be upgraded to 3. And problem is higher rank is really the only way I can make my card better without the need to pay, cause cartmans packs can suck!

    As for your 4 tips

1: I do that, and does work, the problem is they tend to have higher levelled cards than mine, so my assassins get killed instantly leaving only a half-dead tank.

2: very mixed on that. I do that, but it bites me more than it helps, mainly because the main thing is I tend to clash into a stale mate, meaning I can't hurt them and thus pretty much give them the win.

3: I agree on that, I tend to put my cards in places so they block attacks, problem is many players tend to go for the rush mentality

4: Another good tip, but again, can but nulliied by the fact many tend to have stronger cards or counters to the defense, meaning they may end up overpowering it.
