If we are being logical I agree. But, we aren't, Why are rogues still a part of TD after they killed all of those innocent fellow agents?

The point is game play. It's about keeping a decent PvE population in the DZ.

Then you will lose the PVE population. Massive wants a Balance between PVE and PVP where half of deaths come from both activities. How often do people die from PVE.... so how many people will you need to have in the DZ just doing PVE to get the balance Massive wants?

I have bad news, as long as that is their metric, they will keep adjusting things to improve PVE in the DZ until they achieve that balance. If more PVE players stop going into the DZ because it isn't worth it, it will get even harder to achieve Balance (which means changes that are harsher for PVP), until they break PVP, or achieve Balance whichever pointhe they reach first

The DZ population is shrinking fast. Changes like that would be the same as pulling the plug on the servers.

Git GUD or get out of the DZ.
They are getting out and the DZ is dying.
The game will not be supported if the DZ dies off too far. They will pull the plug.

Careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

I mean, you're not gonna really be picking up anything you're not gonna use, right? So technically, your bag should only be filled with things you plan or using / needed.

Well, I guess it depends on how long you've been playing the game.

In all honesty the death penalty has improved. It used to be you lost all of your contaminated gear, some DZ Funds, some DZ Experience, and some DZ keys.

I'm not sure how much of the gear they take from us they extract, but it sucks getting farmed by Rogues.

If you were 'GUD' you wouldn't need to steal other people's loot. Would you?
They are getting out of the DZ, that's why we're suggesting ways to get people back in before they shut down the servers.

Look at it this way: If they improve the DZ then more people will go in there. If more people go in there then there are more victims for you to take advantage of

I think rogues should get RNG stuff if they kill you, not what you're actually carrying. Most of the time they only deconstruct it or leave it there anyway.
They'd get RNG gear and you could keep your stuff

Thing is, for most players improving the DZ means no rogues, which obviously won't work, setting aside a seperate DZ area or giving a choice of PVE or PVP DZ is not an option from the Developers.

I was thinking about that with the gear, but where I got to would first require they accept that Rogue 2.0 isn't working.

What if the killer gets a cache for surviving going Rogue, the killed can go back and pick up their stuff? If we kill a Rogue we get a cache. Maybe add that the killer stays on the map for the people they killed, no concealment, versus concealing and waiting off the timer.

In addition I was thinking, the contents of sealed caches are clean (right), we have to wear masks in the DZ but not inside the checkpoints and safehouse. We must be going through a contamination process as we leave the DZ. Why not let us open caches inside checkpoints (the contents of sealed caches are clean, their outside should be easily decontaminated when we enter the checkpoint), and those items go to inventory. Regular Gear still needs to be extracted.
