I don't agree with you. lol He stated "When you are killed by a rogue he/she should be able to have the pick of any/all items that you are wearing or have in your backpack."

Don't care if you agree. I like the idea of the DZ high risk vs high reward. We toss up out of our bag and you toss up what you're wearing. Come on that sounds fair and would probably get some PvE guys to try more PvP. Of course we will be back to the old everyone stands around trying to taunt each other hoping the other guy goes Rogue 1st.

I was being facetious by disagreeing with you on what he stated.

I know you didn't. I chose to take it one stage further to make this "high risk high reward" argument truly valid.

As it stands, players have the choice to just run around willfully spoiling the game for players who feel forced into entering the DZ by the drop imbalance. These players don't pick up loot so where's the risk? Their playstyle doesn't match the risk vs reward approach that Red Storm (because let's face it, Massive are running this game in name only from a development perspective) tout as the USP for the DZ being a PvEvP zone.

And for clarity, it would work both ways; killed by a rogue or killing a rogue.

I appreciate that dropping everything may be a bit extreme but I would be interested to see what happens if there is a chance to drop an equipped or backpack (standard backpack that is, not DZ backpack) item or two. If you ever played Lineage II before they carebeared it, then you'd possibly appreciate my point of view. You could drop anything on death, but only one item. And L2 was craft only for high end gear so you stood to lose an item that took literally months to farm the materials for.

It won't happen, I know that. But then most of the suggestions in these forums are a complete waste of keystrokes on the part of the poster. I doubt whether many of them are actually read by anyone who has any sort of decision making authority.

This is bad idea. If i hijacked an extraction or kill an agent, i could pick up your items you forgot to make private or didnt get a chance make private and you would never get a chance to get them back as i would make them private.

I don't think loosing everything in PvP is a good idea in any progress based game...the industry in rampant with cheaters.

I think they should remove the option to salvage items in case people forget to lock the items they want to keep.
