    Warden needs a bigger moveset

The title says it all. I believe that warden's moveset is small compared to the movesets the rest of the heroes have.

I just thought this is worth bringing up because everybody else wants it too.

So here are some ideas to his moveset.

Halfsword: light, heavy (this causes a sorta stun-stab attack)
Jab: heavy, light (this only works on the sides. The light attack isn't guaranteed but it it a fast attack.
    maybe something like this:

A person also made some ideas for warden too

It wouldn't alter the essence of his unique style, and wouldn't make him overpowered either.

Also, consider having something from Apollyon's moveset. She had weird swings that looked like heavies, maybe having one of those as a heavy finisher could do.

And I do think Warden needs to be able to deflect. From right and left sides only. Seeing as the top side is his Crushing Counterstrike.

    side things about warden:

He used to have an animation when shoulder-bashing, now he doesn't, why?

He had 3 emotes that he doesn't have now. 2 of em' are:

    why are those gone?

he use to have a jab combo but it's replaced. I thought it was cool. Why is it no longer existent?

A very separate suggestion about warden:

what if there was an option of removing Warden's tabard? I got a glitch that did that and I liked the look honestly.

What, no! It'd make him hella ugly and.... incomplete.

I do agree he could use a few extra moves, but I'm not too sure about the first gif above. It sort of looks more like his already-existing execution, but it was altered in the end outcome, possibly for hitbox issues, or simply unpolished ends.

Great suggestions all around if we remove the 50/50 shoulder bash- basically by removing the guard break cancel from it. I've fought wardens who can set up and easily hit me with a bash and get their 2 hits, and don't vortex. These are great matches. Other times I'll get vortex players who think they're good because they can mash one combo. This is in part due to a small moveset like conqueror and his bash... more moves and mixups all around is the best solution.

Definitely, more mixup options will be awesome, and will reduce the need to rely more and more on SB alone.

Personally, I don't see vortex as a huge issue when facing another Warden, and I don't often chain it more than twice; I don't want to crutch my fights relying on one gimmick. I feel better accomplished as I defeat my opponent with skill. Warden players who rely solely on the vortex are really playing the Warden badly, imo. It's his major trick yes.... but it's not his only strength.

I'm on board with this. The Warden is the least interesting character by far, in terms of kit.

Thank you! I can only hope to effectively brainstorm further about how Warden can be further improved also, thanks a lot for quoting me in your original message above, means a lot.

@Orisoll indeed, side-by-side with other dynamic heroes, he'll seem dull and rusty. He's not, I assure you; it's just the feeling and impression he tends to give to anyone who hasn't dedicated himself to him. But yeah, he definitely needs some overhaul.

    Shugoki says "Hi".

Warden does not have the smallest kit compare to all the other heroes.

    1. we should NOT take anything away from warden, but we should add a few more moves.

    - I think he should get CC also for sideattacks,
    - I think he should get the ability to pierce/lance into the enemy like in his execution
    - he should get the ability to stun an enemy by hitting him with the backside/handle of his sword.....boom stun and attack!

    what do you think?
