They just pushed out another event with no fixes to this issue.
This will be the second event people are gonna have to completely miss out on, nice.

I am on iOS and the game hasn't worked since the 2.2.0 update for me either so it's not just an Android issue. I am not jailbroken so i'm not sure what the issue could be.

Its an iPhone 6 plus with iOS9

Have you used Magisk to root or the old SuperSU? If you have Magisk, go to Magsik Manager and hide root for the game and you can play without problems. This also works if you have the problen but your phone is not rooted. Just root and hide.

Hello! Have you tried refreshing the Updates section? Open the App Store on your device, and tap the Updates icon at the bottom of the screen. You should see an update available for South Park: Phone Destroyer, and you can update the game manually from there. You may need to pull down to refresh the Updates page. I hope that helps!
