"We're seeing less people engage in the Dark Zone."

"Overall game activity is awesome, Dark Zone is shrinking, and... that's not cool"

This was the funniest thing in the entire state of the game and probably ever relating to the game.

As long as they allow over half the players to glitch and cheat the game will continue to suffer. Why they ignore this problem is beyond me.

The DZ is a ******* joke and so is the lag in this game. I've tried to be civil as a fairly new player but now I'm starting to understand the frustrations of some of the older players.

The inability of the developers to see what is wrong with this game and where the potential is is stupid - I understand some things can't be fixed overnight but then they go and implement features that work badly with areas of the game that are well known by players to be broken.... instead of trying to mitigate the problems with clever game design, etc.

Hmm guys its almost as if the rampant glitchers and hackers are driving people out of the DZ, surprising isn't it?

I mean take for instance just the grenade stagger/effect before even thrown issue that appears on Legendary missions especially Napalm - how long has it been there? (as a new player its been there the month and a bit I've been playing Legendary missions for but I assume it predates that) why has it not either been hotfixed as assumedly its a fairly simple issue and/or if it is a more complex one why not just change the grenade to a different one that doesn't cause the issue atleast as a temporary measure?

Maybe they'really starting to realize that the DZ isn'the making many people happy, and they need to do what makes their players happy....

It's now clear why they dumped all of the exotics in there. After Supply Drops, Contamination Events, the DZ is still shrinking in activity. I think we all know where the real action needs to be.

That's definitely a part of it.

But I'd imagine that's not the reason on consoles.

I've actually not ran into "that many" people hacking/glitching but in terms of PVP my experience has either been people who are ridiculously easy to kill and don't seem to know what they are doing in the DZ* or people who are ridiculously powerful - killing from max range with like 2-3 shots from an SMG and almost certainly cheating - I've yet to have a single fight that has been like playing on an equal level.

    * I think they are people trying to play for the theoretical idea of the DZ but just give up if they encounter another player and just assume everyone else is cheating and hope you kill them quickly so they can get back to whatever they were doing.
