    Balancing

    If the characters are balanced and choice of moves to use is increased, I think people will then play diff variety of game modes more often. For example, the vangaurds and the conq have like 7 or 8 moves to choose from, at some point, things become predictable and thus 1 move is used the majority of the time, especially if it can be spammed. I have a feeling that what is done for the defensive meta won't change much. I think this because one of the few good things the conq can do is trurtle, block and strike with a heavy. Even his heavy swings are slow. I am curious to see his rework bc I do like playing the conqueror. Most players counter a GB now so those are not even good the majority of the time. I think every assassin has a block-strike or dodge-strike ability and some hybrids; if those gives free hits then there is no reason to attack. I think its more because of that reason that players don't attack often.

    I would hate a mode that disables gear bonuses I spent time and steel acquiring and increasing the score for a higher bonus. At that point, its like why play the game, get gear, and increase the gearscore. Its like a slap in the face. I'm stating my opinion but for those that want it, that's fine.

    I agree.

    As long as Defense can give you guaranteed hits and offense cannot, Defense Meta will reign supreme. Offense needs some ways to guarantee free hits or Defense Meta needs it's free hits removed, or the game will not change in a meaningful way.
