New challenge and a bug... maybe? | Forums

So I went to visit my friend and he was telling me about this new challenge he came up with (well, at least for me it is)... he started a new campaign and instead of grinding on each province, he is now locating Intel, and grinding/farming for Skill points and boosting Trucks for meds, comms, gas, etc, etc. He says that once he is done doing this on all provinces or when fully leveled up, he will then proceed to do all the missions, that at least this way the dying from trying to fight a God enemy w/o leveling up will be a more equal challenge and fun as well.

At any rate, while in the middle of getting a skill point (can't remember the region), he tried to sync shot 4 baddies, aim for the head, nothing happen, the other dudes dropped when shot by the teammates, my friend kept unloading on the enemy and nothing, bad guy walked all the way until he hid behind a tree, ok so my friend reloaded, seeked him out only to die because he unloaded a full mag on the dude and he would not go down nor get a sound when you hit the enemy? (sorry, I don't know the technical word for it).

He/we dismissed it as a glitch and moved on from there looking at the next skill point near by and in the same province (again, can't remember which one)... got to the place with a sniper in the tower, aim at the head (time was on his side), we thought he missed so he popped a burst into the sniper and nothing, of course by this time the sniper had already engaged plus a unidad MLG guard nearby and he was dead on the spot.

I also don't know if he is up to date with the patches but I also believe it does not matter because he had been playing for a good hour w/o any issues until the bug/glitch started.

Has this happened to anyone here before? as much as I will love to blame UBI, I do believe this is a hiccup and restarting the PC and the game will cure it but I will ask him if restarting the game again and going back to that part did fix the issue... just needed to check with those of you that have done more hours than a real operators has in real life

Hi Tactical, thanks for letting us know about the issue your friend experienced.! Any video of this would really help us investigate. Please let us know if a restart doesn't resolve the issue!

I doubt there will be any videos showing, he barely knows where the power button is LOL... but I am hopeful the glitch will go away if he restarts and plays the game again since it was working well before it happens.
