    Is Siege too fast paced?

I miss the old times being careful and watching cornors with more teamplay. Now its only full 3 speed ops with high RoF guns..run and gun and still succeed. Defense team never stays in the objective room. Just roaming, spawnkilling and going outside. (Ugh toxic) maybe because the traps like kapkan are useless. This game reminds me of something else. Maybe CoD? Mhmm.

Why is there unlimited sprint/no stamina in this game? Even in small maps(most of them) you can easily rush outside or to the objective, and keep on sprinting.

    The Time limit.
Ranked is 1 minute less than casual, this means=No tactics, just speed to the objective before time runs out.
Sure ranked is more serious and less toxic than casual. But the time is way too short,
Ranked should be more difficult, more awareness, looking in rooms/cornors with more teamplay, and roaming must be a bit more scarier etc hope you get me.

Tactical shooter? No, that was since release.
The speed in this game is killing it. Like others said here about the armor, i cant agree more. Theres barely a armor difference with 1/2/3 armor ops.
Ps. Maybe buff the rook armor?

And back to the kapkan trap changes. ive expierenced much more rushers.. because the damage is just low, it shouldve sticked to lethal. That was very good against rushers. And the barbwire is useless basically no one uses it. But i guess whatever pro leaguers say, you have to change that.

YES. Its too fast paced!!!! Pretty much everyone agrees that Siege is becoming too much of a twitchy fps, but Ubisoft doesnt care about our feedback and is clearly not listening to us.

Anchors are almost non-existent anymore, everybody runs and guns, hardly anyone drones or reinforces fully. This game is a shell of what is used to be.

There are almost zero penalties associates with fast operators; they can soak up almost as much damage as the heavy armors and in a game with zero accuracy penalties for movement while aiming down sights (including dropping prone) speed is going to be king.

If ubi wants to fix this game they need to slow down the speed fast ops can move while aiming down sights, give fast ops less damage resistance and give the heavies a little more.

Another thing making 3 speeds so damn good is their strafing speed. I can barely even hit one if I have an ACOG on because they zoom around so damn fast. The 1 speeds cant do that, and since headshots are instakills in this game, it means that 1 speeds are sitting ducks. I dont see ANY advantages that a 1 speed like Echo or Fuze has over a 3 speed like Ash or Ela.

This game should be called "COD 6: Take Ash/Ela to win"

Honestly that was what I was thinking about yesterday when I played with my friends. None of them reinforced anything, all of them are outside the dang objective, not even Bandit placed down his shock thingy, any sort of things you do on prep, they never did. I was legit frustrated 'cause I died trying to defend the objective all on my own.

Granted I'm not the oldest player as I've only started about six months back, but man, did it change so damn much.

OP is right. I'd like Ubi to notice what happened to Titanfall 2.

Hmmmm...although I do not agree with the faster/lighter pace associated with recent operators, I also understand why folks are not staying on objective directly, and are roaming/freely moving around a bit more. Staying in the objective room for example is basically asking for Fuze to light you up. There are only so many reinforcements that can be put down and so many gadgets to counter him. And, thats just one operator.

Furthermore, these maps have gotten way to big. I have heard arguments supporting these bigger maps, but a siege WOULD NOT HAPPEN in the amusement park map, for example.. Way too big, way to much area to cover, etc. Ergo, it also facilitates defenders to move more and more freely because they have more range/area to cover. Case in point: Compare amusement park to airplane (which I think is the epitome of a siege (look at hostage situations in the 70s and 80's)

I think part of this is Ubi trying to make the game appealing to folks, ergo the COD dynamic. Another part is just defenders adapting to their surroundings and reacting accordingly. In a random team of five players, I can see where most of the team does not want to stay in the objective room boxed in. In a lotta those games, no one is on cams, no one is on comms, and players do not want to be the last guy holding the hot potato.

There is still the same amount of teamplay. People with time and experience have just gotten faster and more efficient at it. Instead of taking 30 seconds to clear a room, it's taking people 30 seconds to clear multiple rooms simultaneously to converge on the objective.

This is certainly a valid point too. I definitely find myself moving a whole lot quicker on certain maps now then I did 2 years ago. And, OTOH, I find myself moving very cautiously through certain points in the map because I have been killed in certain spots multiple times and have learned those pitfalls. That is a legit counter that attackers/defenders can use to stop folks who are playing at "light-speed".
