WARNING to anyone purchasing Wildlands DLC | Forums

If you own Wildlands on Steam and purchase any DLC from UPlay, Ubisoft WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE DLC YOU PURCHASED! I guess they just kind of consider your money as a donation at that point. Then, after waiting a week for customer service to respond to you about not being able to download the DLC, they will also refuse to give you a refund and constantly refer you to their refund policy, which apparently covers them taking your money and refusing to provide the software you paid for.

I was always leery of Ubsoft, but now I will absolutely go out of my way to avoid giving them a dime of my money in the future. Congratulations Ubisoft customer support.

I bought the season pass last Friday and ordered it on the wrong account (i have two and only one is linked to my Steam account). I submitted a ticket and have yet to hear back from them. I will NEVER purchase a game from their store again. If i want one of their games i'll get it through Steam. The only reason why i went through them in the first place was because it was cheaper. Guess what? I should have spent the extra $$. UBISOFT SUCKS ***!!

This has been like this for several years now. If you buy a game on Steam then get the DLC's on Steam. Same with Uplay Origin/EA or Bethesda. You might be able to sell that one. As you can't install it the key has not been used yet.

Same here. Still no answer from support. Thankfully I paid with paypal and will get this sh*t sorted if needed.
