Greetings. Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Since I'm just looking to purchase this game Now, is there any point to getting the gold edition? Is it helpful or better just to get standard?

Gold edition gives you some exclusive cosmetic items vs standard were you do not.

The cosmetics in my opinion aren’t worth it, I say get the standard you can always use the money you saved to buy a steel pack if you want some nice customization options

I’m sorry I have you false information, the gold edition comes with season pass and cosmetic stuff. The season pass will unlock all 6 of the new hero’s. The new hero’s alone are worth it. Otherwise they cost 15000 steel a piece

Oh! I knew it unlocked them early which had happened already but I didn't realize you had to buy them if you didn't choose that method. Is steel in game currency or purchased currency? If in game I'm assuming it's hard to get that amount together early on. (Sorry for all the questions)

Steel is earned in game after completing matches, orders, contracts, and finding breakables in the story mode. It’s slow to accumulate a large amount. Also you have the option to purchase steel packs in various amounts.
