So you have super fast attacks mixed with tons of faints and no clue which side the attack comes from. Then add the ability to be the supreme turtle overlord with the ability to block any attack by simply pressing down on R stick. His kick kicks you quite a ways. Was kicked about 20 feet off a wall on one board. One with snow and two suspension bridges. Horrible with names. He is spam but he is nothing compared to Shaman.
I have aramusha rep 7..... (yeah i know) and working on shaman during double xp.... .I have killed and STOPPED plenty of ara light spammers.. PARRY isn't bugged like block is.. IF they soft feint do a deflect or dodge attack and you stop their combo. soft feint allows for you to attack them instead of being a turtle assassin...

If they always soft feint his top attack that makes him predictable. You kind of wrote yourself into a corner m8 ;3
Also. If he's skipping top constantly but in a combo still his only option is to side light into same side finisher into deadly feinting into the other side attack. and doing this on repeat. The animation for him to continually flip sides like this is long enough that you should be able to react to it if your reflexes are worth mentioning at all.

It's 100% possible to predict how he plays. You just refuse to learn and instead complain about the hero. Also it's not really spam if he's constantly weaving in heavies to feint into other directions. Spam is the same move repeated in the same direction. Even if we ignored the same direction if you want to "spam" his lights only you always have to go top. You can't feint a light in his combo so...

so why nerf the weaker character while not touching the superior?
Roman said on Warrior's Den that "all of her moves are a little bit too good. The goal was to have her able to do everything, but not everything the best." So for those reasons, she will be getting these nerfs. We'll be monitoring her closely after the patch to make sure she's in a good place.

If they did it every time it would very predictable. But since they change which one they feint and mix it up, it is very hard to get out of such a rapid fire combo. It is never that cut and dry. At least for anybody that has gotten decent with him. He is a spam character. Plain and simple.

You're writing in circles. You insist that they don't go up top because it's predictable. Yet somehow they avoid going up top while mixing it up enough that you can't predict it. Which is not possible if they avoid top. If we tell you to block top you say "good aramusha avoid top" So I point out how that exactly looks. Then you say that they don't always avoid top because always avoiding it would be predictable. So blocking top would be a viable thing then if they don't avoid it. And you still insist he's a spam character. yet some how he's able to mix up? If you're constantly changing the direction with deadly feints and mixing in heavies with your light's he's no longer spamming.

There is nothing plain or simple here. You're just complaining because you can't deal with him.

By their logic, Kensei is a spammer because they feint and light way too much!

They can only soft feint their finisher heavy into a light meaning they need to score the first hit with a light and then do a heavy in the same direction that they can then soft feint. The logic still applies that if you get hit from a side then expect a hit from the top, you now however need to pay more attention to what he will do. His heavy is relatively slow and he only has a very small amount of time to soft feint it into a light - basically as soon as he launches his heavy he already has to input the light in another direction otherwise he will just follow through with the heavy. Keep your guard to the top and watch him closely. His comboed heavy from the same side takes 900 milliseconds to fully reach you/hit you. If he hasn't soft cancelled it into a top light within the first 400ms (i.e. very, very soon after initiating the heavy animation) then he's going to hit you with the heavy, change you guard stance to either block it or parry it.

Keep practising this and eventually you will learn to recognise when it is safe for you to change your guard from top stance to parry his heavy. If he's gone for the top light anyway your guard stance was already at top and you blocked it thus ending his chain. Later on with more experience you could even learn to parry his top light - I haven't been able to do this yet but I have had this done to me a number of times now by other players, mostly Wardens for some reason. Damn you Wardens!!!

The only other thing the Aramusha can do to you after a side light into same side heavy is to soft feint the heavy into a light from the other side but he sacrifices his chain for that hit and you can learn to predict that move as well. Feinting his light to the other side is 500ms and he physically moves his body to the other side so it is possible to react to that if you've been watching him closely.

Kensai is about mixups and mindgames same as Raider, aramusha is about spamming, close to peacekeeper. I can easily beat 90% Of players on console spaming with either Of those classes and they should be changed. Spaming is not fun.
