Easy to use characters beating “skill”.

So today I decided to try out duels. Nothing but straight aramusha and shaman fantastic. Literally nothing I could do. The spammy characters are beating people with actual skill, just constant spamming in this unresponsive game just leaves you hopeless. It’s funny because one of the aramusha said “I’m better than you” which is funny considering you just spam your gay infinite combo and swear you’re good. It’s just sad to see For Honor take this road. I’m going to put this game down and it might be for good. All the time I’ve invested into orochi to be beaten by trash players and their mentally handicapped mentality just sickens me, the devs always say changes will be coming, but when they get here the chances of them working are usually 50/50 I don’t feel like risking it. It’s just too cancerous.

Sooo you play Orochi, a super spammy character (Top Light / Zone / Flicker anyone?) and complain about 2 new spammy characters? Sounds right...

I beat the sht out of most players that are learning Ara / Shaman right now when I take my Rep 40 PK. Should be the same for you on Orochi, they are not that much different in playstyle and moves. Maybe you had a bad day or just met a better player or you have to learn what the new characters can do and how to counter it. That last thing is pretty important in any fighting game...

Thx for the instant insult. Yes he has, but you don't need any other move to beat even good opponents, except being able to parry for a heavy. Orochi can deflect into a 3-way mixup (light, heavy, GB), his backdash into top heavy is a superb tool to punish melee unblockables, side dash attacks are always good, storm rush canceled late into GB is good to surprise people, too. Also, his Top Light is the hardest hitting in the whole roster with 32 guaranteed damage. That is higher than alot of heavy attacks are, and it is a 500ms attack.

Sure, he does not have the depth of the DLC Characters. But none of the OG Characters have that, and I can beat every DLC Character with my OG main. Having all these mixups does not mean that you can do them all, or use them correctly. Having a small moveset has its up- and downsides, just like having so many options.

Peacekeeper is the best lightspam Class, one Of the best if not the best Class in the Game and cant be compared To the mediocrd orochi with only fast top light and zone. I won a tournament as a lvl 3 peacekeeper, didnt even bother learning his kit just spammed lights lol.

Evidence please. It is not only the "light spam" which made PK so good, it was the 400ms cancelable zone, zone flicker and the side dodge attacks with heavy damage which made her S-Tier in S1 - S3. They fixed flicker and PK got nerfed pretty hard in S1 and S2. Btw the "best light spam" class now is, by far, Aramusha:

PK light chain: max 2 hits (first 500ms, second 400ms) for 32 damage - then recovery so opponent can attack himself
Aramusha light chain: infinite hits (first 500ms, every consecutive light attack 400ms) for 15 (first) and 12 (every consecutive hit) damage - no recovery until stamina is empty

    Now let's see Orochi:
Top Light: 500ms with a guaranteed followup (200ms) dealing 32 Damage and is a chain starter

If you still believe that PK is the "best light spam" Character, well, I cannot help you.

Pk is alot better then orochi, i dont. Play orochi myself or pk Much both prestige 0, and i am prestige 100 total. Pk csn feint heavy into light which 400ms so she has the fastest light opener in the Game if you for some reason feel the need to not do normal lights. Aramushas might be the new Queen Of lightspam, hard to tell how high tier that Class is yet. I predict alot Of shaman peacekeeper combos in high level brawl tournaments. Peacekeeper easy bleed and shaman blood trance.

If you are being regularly beaten by these two new characters, maybe you aren't a good as you thought.

Orochi is the most predictable character in this game. The top light combo is not a chain starter. Riptide strike is not a very good move due to you're now dedicated to getting parried unless they wiffd that bad. I've never been able to cancel late it off a storm rush into a GB. He can be GB'd during his dodge. And you say he's a spammer. With zone. Two zones and you have a OOS orochi. Which is a dead orochi lol. Pks are atrocious. It's almost like a faster orochi with a bleed

If you're dying to spam you're not as skilled as you believe yourself to be.
Should probably put the game down and come back when you're a bit more calm and mature.
