You do need to remember that you can't just have them do stuff like that because some can counter shaman and what not, Whereas some people struggle to fight against them.
    You fell for the bait.

And yes hammer of some kind, we know they have them given the forge lol.People want a traditional sword and shield knight so hammer and shield might be seen as too close which is why I also said two handed hammer but hammer and shield would be my first choice, first heavy I would at least try since repping up conq if they went with that class.
Hammer and shield would be cool but way too close to the Conq imo. Essentially a mace and shield combo all over again. If you look at the newer classes we have 3 that dual wield, 1 with only a single weapon, one with a trident and buckler and dual wielder. Personally I think another dual wielder would be good, maybe with a battle-hammer. This could be Knight or Viking I guess. Short range and the slowest of all classes, balanced out by having huge damage and some good control mechanisms like a slam to the floor that can be performed after a GB. Call him the Jarl for Vikings or Justicar for Knights.

Another shield class is the next logical step, and the Samurai need one. Perhaps an immortal like them bad-asses in 300 but with a shield and sword? Quicker but daintier than the warlord or conq, but not as wild as the Valkyrie. Talking of 300, there's gotta be a Spartan at some point?!

Yeah sounds good, and I was trying not to mention spartans, odds are the knights would get them lol. I don't mind we have two Roman heroes, it doesn't bug me as much as others, but I would like some knights.

If you get every hero to rep 40 (or send a one time payment of $80)

A Spartan has gotta be done. Heavy/Vanguard hybrid. Definitely one of the last well known legendary warriors to be represented in the roster. I thought seeing as the original roster is full they could maybe bring out some Mercenary classes that don't play for any particular faction, seeing as it actually has zero impact on the faction war anyway. This would give them more free reign with creativity as it doesn't have to loosely fit into a faction. A Spartan, Zande tribesman, Arabian warrior with a scimitar etc would be cool as I mentioned earlier and don't have to "fit in".

My biggest concern is the reworks on the old characters, all of them. I know, i know the first batch is coming whenever but I feel like my Orochi is going to be one of the last which to be honest doesnt bother me much because i still own most regardless at least give them a challenge. It would be nice though to have a few extra tricks up my sleeve. I am really enjoying this game and and yes there are frustrations but i personally am no where as near as aggravated as i once was. the break i took served me well. I believe it served this community well too because i was quite salty before and noone wants to read that ****.

    I'd wager a warhammer-wielding heavy Knight, a quarterstaff vanguard Samurai/Monk, and a sword & gauntlet hybrid Viking.

Though what I'd honestly like to see, primarily, speaking as a Knight, is first and foremost a proper rework of the three original Knights, and perhaps adding extra moves here and there; and a new dual-broadsword / dual-bastard sword Knight.

Speaking of extra moves, am I the only one to think Warden needs a pommel bash move? same timing as Centurion's kick, but less range, and without wallsplat, and has the button combo of Raider's bash (Push up on analog + R1 + X, on PS4). It won't change the essence of his unique style and won't make him too overpowered either. Seeing as the trend with new characters is giving them bash moves.... Gladiator can shield-bash and toe-stab, Shinobi can kick, Centurion can kick and punch, Highlander can kick and grab, Aramusha can kick, Shaman can heabutt!! give that to the original roster too, so they can counter the new heroes more effectively.

Note: Warden's shoulder bash is indeed a bash move however it is generally slower than the above mentioned ones, and not as spammable, mind you. (I'm not talking vortex, I'm talking the bash alone). Raider's bash is still faster and more spammable.

Note 2: no, not suggesting to turn For Honor into a bash-spam fest.... but any suggestions to specific moves for the original characters is more than welcome. I'm just brain-farting here.
