    All web searches are wrong

The hint starts with: East of the Oasis I call home. We are all going with the assumption it is Bayek, not Aya (her house in Alexandria). I hope we are correct with him, as her place has no cliffs to the East.
We need to find a cave accessable only by a nearby fork in the road. Why is the word 'only' in there. To me, makes it seem high up, not flat land. Also because 'it's a small hallow with in the cliff side' also makes me think high up....doesn't help with the last part of not easily found. (jerks like to rub it in).
I have been all over the western side of the Black Desert, nearest to Siwa. No luck of any small hallow. I have been all over the smaller rock formation with in eyesight of Hotep Cavern, no luck. The temple\burial place, where we find one if the ancient tablets, on the East side of that there is a

From what I have noticed is that, the game actually saves automatically whenever you do something that requires a save.

In the cave Hotep Cavern, there seems to be an unusual stack of block that don't need to be there. I have attached the pictures for that.

Now you hop onto that and get down, the game starts saving.

What I'm going to say now is a long shot. Either there is another way to get into that part or there will be some future event that makes those blocks brittle enough to break.

Additionally, the note you find in that cave states that person got lost and could not find his way out after finally finding a treasure of a lifetime. Clearly he was lost and broke his leg doing something.

I have been searching for 2 hours now. This is what I could conclude. If I come across more info I will be sure to share.

Also, during a quest Bayek tells Aya "This is a tighter squeeze than the caves west of Siwa" to which she responds "We were smaller in those days"

Clearly there is some way of getting into the cave. A hidden entrance?

Spoiler, aren't all the artifacts telling you that your going to be able to change the future, what if Layla wrote the tablet when she traveled back in time?!

Has anyone actually figured this out yet?

There’s a major part of the theory that the tablet Layla finds leads us to take Bayek to the Hotep Cavern that bugs me. Why would you bury the treasure map with the treasure? It makes no sense to me

I think something is still going to happen in that cave..and why bayek and aya were buried in that cave, separated from their son? And she was in rome, at some point she came back to die close to bayek? Or they died together figthing someone or something? Hope everything will be explained in the future..

    HEY GUYS!!!!!
    I think I’ve found something
So when I went into the cavern. Yes don’t get me wrong there was a legendary weapon there but meh that could be anything However
When I was killing the hyenas at the front I hadn’t played the game in a while so after shooting a few with arrows when they charged me I just through down a smoke grenade and they vamoosed and I went into the cave. Now I will add that my game has been extremely glitchy. Because I’ve been playing offline. A example is at one point I had infinite breathing underwater after activating aincient mechanism which is underwater till I died which was a surprisingly long time. I used it for underwater tunnels in that city with the crocodiles ect. Any how 2 of the hyenas ran away . One came back and was chilling at the front of the cave. So I killed it. The second one was in a strange location so I got Senu out to find it thinking it was above me. Senu was saying 150 metres below. So I locked on to the target pressing A got out of Senu then checked from bayecks perspective and the target was saying 103 metres below smack bang in the dead centre of hoteps cave. Wherever that hyena is. There a cavern underneath the cave. I tried using Senu to work it out but it’s the same deal as a chest being in a underground passageway it just moves with Senu without showing an entry. Also guys the answer is kind of in the text. It is a small hollow within the cliff side. Now I have been searching around and if you ask me it fits the description of something similar to the rear entrance of the tomb of the nomad ironically near a fork in the road above the hay stack and tent thing. Now I’m not saying that is it. But when you compare that to the description it’s way more accurate than hoteps cave. Which is by no means “not easily found” that being said assasins creed generally speaking does not make things difficult to find but that being said I believe they have made an exception for this one. This may be a really cool Easter egg. I’ll check a few other cliffs but it’s kind of gay climbing up and down the mountains. But generally speaking I’m looking for some sort of a cause way that leads half way up ect near a fork similar to what you find at goat fish stone circle ⭕️ as the text says accessible only by a nearby fork in the road which I believe roughly translates to. You will not need to climb a mountain to access it will be nearby a fork in the road with a significantly easier path. Now that combined with my glitch tells me it should be one of the mountains/ cliffs very close to hoteps cave. I hope this helps best of luck. If someone finds it please post

They were effectively stuck inside but would just fly up and down but stuck within the walls. So I believe there is merit to my belief that the glitch is showing a hidden area. Unless it was spawned out of bound or something which I don’t believe to be the case. Also the hyena was “hunting” according to description if anyone’s interested

So I’ve done a alot of searching and come up dry. Found a pretty cool blocked entrance cut into the mountain east of rear entry to tomb of nomads. You can approach wall and use camera to glitch a view inside shows a cavern of some sort and parts of the tomb. Im confident it’s not related to the the stone tables but it is a nifty artifact left offer from game development. I assume originally it was to be a entrance of some sort to the tomb and then they blocked and left the door in place. It looks kind of cool so if you are looking for something feel free to check it out shame you can’t upload photos or if show you. Anyways if the “actual” artifact is there somewhere. It has to be on the south side mountain between the hoteps cavern and the rear tomb of nomads exit/entry. But after I’m leaning towards I’m over it. And there’s that many players I believe someone else would have found it by now if there was something. Also assasins creed doesn’t make these things very difficult. Reminds me of trying the find the skull key in the forest temple in ocarina of time that end up being in the first room high up above on a ledge accessed by a wall that looks like it can’t be climbed but can. “Now that was annoying as hell as the internet wasn’t much of a thing back then. Anyways that’s 5 hours of my life well spent. Take it easy
