Relic of Great Power - Thoughts & Possibilities

I have been doing a lot of searching about this. From the time I spotted it, it has bugged me.

From what I have noticed is that, the game actually saves automatically whenever you do something that requires a save.

In the cave Hotep Cavern, there seems to be an unusual stack of block that don't need to be there. I have attached the pictures for that.

Now you hop onto that and get down, the game starts saving.

What I'm going to say now is a long shot. Either there is another way to get into that part or there will be some future event that makes those blocks brittle enough to break.

Additionally, the note you find in that cave states that person got lost and could not find his way out after finally finding a treasure of a lifetime. Clearly he was lost and broke his leg doing something.

I have been searching for 2 hours now. This is what I could conclude. If I come across more info I will be sure to share.

Also, during a quest Bayek tells Aya "This is a tighter squeeze than the caves west of Siwa" to which she responds "We were smaller in those days"

Clearly there is some way of getting into the cave. A hidden entrance?

When i find out that message i thought something would be hidden there as well..i mean, how did the dude got lost in there when the exit is very near to him?and the loot you get from there it really didnt felt like a big deal..i kept looking, and nothing..

I think something is still going to happen in that cave..and why bayek and aya were buried in that cave, separated from their son? And she was in rome, at some point she came back to die close to bayek? Or they died together figthing someone or something? Hope everything will be explained in the future..

I hope so. this suspense is killing me man. But, for sure that location of blocks will have to be something. It is an unnatural setup there. It is clearly placed there.

Isn't Hotep Cavern where Bayek and Aya are buried? More than half of that cave is blocked off during Bayek's time but it's still the same cave from present day so the saving thing could just be a harmless bug that's carried over to ancient Egypt because those parts of the cave are explorable in present day.

The rock just inside the cave to the right of the entrance, for instance, has a message from Bayek in present day that Layla translates, and that's what led me to the cave as Bayek in the first place.

Bayek choose that cave to be buried in for a reason..and i think we havent seen that reason yet..at least i didnt notice anything..i think its something more about that cave..maybe its the entrance for their "underworld" and they were buried there as "gate keepers" and the relic you will find there will be the "sword of the duat" that you will find when the dlc comes out...dlc will be fighting against gods and curses, and they have to be coming out from the "underworld" thru somewhere..just an idea..

Usually, in AC games, the ultimate goal is find the location of one of the "apples of eden".

Bayek used one (or appeared to be one to me) to smash the skull of his target in Siwa. He showed it to Aya upon Arriving in Alexandria, but then it kind of became not a part of the story.

Since they both had a sarcophagus, I'm betting they were intentionally buried there. Either with the apple, or something which indicates its location.

It would certainly be a relic of great power.

Or maybe the reason is a very simple one and one of the oldest reasons in humanity: love :-)
When you enter the cave as Bayek for the first time he tells you he used to go there with Aya and would like to be buried there with her, and if I'm not mistaken, met her there for the first time.

He did state that's where he met Aya. Like I mentioned earlier, "Also, during a quest Bayek tells Aya "This is a tighter squeeze than the caves west of Siwa" to which she responds "We were smaller in those days""

Clearly, there is an entrance that is small and since Bayek has grown, he will not be able to go through that.

Maybe there will a Trial that happens near Hotep Cavern that creates a shockwave to make those stones brittle LOL
