what you have done too this game is criminal, its a crime against games, you offended the gaming community at large, I hope your ashamed of yourselves, this isn't just some angry rant because I bought a game that I didn't like, i'm sad because you took a game with such amazing potential and you did everything in your power to destroy it as fast you could, through your inaction and neglect you have lost my respect as a developer. some might find this post gratuitous but I assure it is more than necessary.
While I still have fun with For Honor, I agree that Ubisoft utterly wasted this game's potential. For me it's the fact that the entire premise of the game (the faction system) is nothing more than an icon and mode select screen disguised as a world map. They hyped up the faction war only to deliver the laziest excuse for a cop-out I've ever seen. It's a real shame too, because the visuals and animations in For Honor are top-notch, and they're wasted on a 5/10 game.
While I still have fun with For Honor 2, the problem isnt that. They didnt waste the potential.
The problem is that they dont react to the gamers oppinion fast enaugh, not even slow enaugh for that matter, and they keep the comunity unhappy when theres 100% chances something is broken when a big majority of the comunity sais it is.
The second problem however and i think THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE, is that they dont speak (trough special threads in forums) with the comunity, in real time about what they want to change, so that the conunity speak theyr mind and based on that work on the changes. Not the changrs first and then 7 weeks of useless discussions.
firs off there is no community at any given time I'd imagine there are at most 50 people playing this game, it is dead and there isn't much short of giving the game away for free that's going too revive it, and as far as community feedback goes, there are two problems with this, 1. devs listening too their fans, and 2. not listening too their fans. not too be crass but 95% of the feedback left on these forums are incoherent at best, and the other 5% just isn't pragmatic, just like with any game devs need too know the difference between intelligent comprehensive feedback and populace whining. the people running the forums need to be able to recognize the difference and pass along only that which might actually effect change, but alas there isn't even anyone running these forums anymore
which is why this is likely too be the last ubisoft game I ever buy, I would hope you all learned as I have ubisoft doesn't care about gamesOriginally Posted by qwalla Go to original post
Unfortunately i agree. Ubi has such amazing creativity when it comes to brainstorming titles. We are constantly let down by delivery and not just in for honor. Pvp balance just seems completely neglected in every title they release. I heard something about a conq buff before i quit and came back twice! Hes still a boring slug. All of these vanilla characters are just left to rot while they release new ones that are much more dynamic and game breaking. Much like ive been saying to the division. Fix your game, then add to it!Originally Posted by nyrue Go to original post

I actually agree with OP. For Honor is a great concept with the wrong people at the helm. I've figured that this is symptomatic of all recent Ubisoft games. Release a broken game, and fix it after, like with Rainbow Six and the Division 6 months after launch. Except they haven't started fixing For Honor yet.
