Even on normal I get smashed. I freely admit I'm not a great player, but I'd like to get into this game without being pummeled. It's so difficult that it feels stressful and I just end up turning it off.

Ideally I'd like an easy mode where I can disable the bombers and revive friends. I don't care for renown, disable that if needs be.
There's no chance of me purchasing the season pass or other dlc for a game I don't play. An easy mode might lower the barrier of entry and give me a chance to skill up for higher difficulties or the competitive multiplayer.

I personally find Normal to be a breeze as the AI are quite dumb. I can rush through them no problem, but then again - I have played the game for a long time.
It would be a great help if you could just record one of your attempts and post it here, that way I can see what is going wrong and give you some tips.

I expected OP to complain about how easy it is...because they are literally the worst AI in a fps. They give you like 5 seconds to kill them before they respond. I will agree with the suicide bombers, they can be overpowered but you have a drone to scout them out.

Im the opposite, I wish they'd add a harder version, either add more AI to realistic difficulty or something as it's just a breeze for most people I've encountered when playing realistic.

As for normal, it's quite easy, if it seems difficult just keep trying and it will get better, remember that aiming for the head is an instakill, except for bombers, they require 3 or 4 headshots.

It's specifically the suicide bombers; those things drive me nuts. Sometimes I can drop them, sometimes not; then it's game over. Often I can just hear them running around then outta nowhere, they burst in an explode. That's just not fun. It's just tedious having to restart the game if you or a friend get downed by one of these.

The suicide bombers make a very audible cue and has lights on them. Listen out of their noise, and then get to an area where there is more room between you and them. Don't try and take them down when you are so close to them.

Just try to take them out from a distance. And keep count too. On normal mode there are 2 bombers. On hard, I think there's 3.

Remember, shooting the bomb pack on their back will disable the bomb, this can also be done from a same distance with Twitch.

Normal: 2
Hard: 3 but third won’t show up until reinforcements
Realistic: 4 and same as Hard but with 2 more instead of 1 more.

I also kind of have a mental note of how many kills t takes before the terrorist reinforcements show up by spawning outside. You know, to shoot you in the back from across the map through 2 trees and a fence before you even know what’s going on. -_-
