Season 4 Update Causes Game To Run Very Poorly For Some Players

I as well as many others have been able to run this game perfectly fine at near max settings before the update. After the update however, I and a myriad of other players I have encountered are now experiencing game breaking FPS lag. Running the game in borderless windowed mode is the closest anyone has come to finding a solution to this. However, while it mitigates some of the lag, most of it is still present and often causes the game to kick me out of matches due to low FPS. Someone had suggested that the new method of loading maps may have something to do with it, and I am sure he may have been right. It could also be the new V-Sync change, or the reflection effect changes. Those are the main three things I think should be given a look into in order to fix this glitch. Thank you.

Hi there! This is still being investigated, though here are two potential workarounds:

Set V-Sync option to either [Off] or [Triple Buffering] in the Display options menu in-game.

    In For Honor options.ini file (Documents/my games/For Honor/options.ini), change the line VSyncAdaptive=true to VSyncAdaptive=false

Should these issues still persist, we recommend providing your DxDiag and MSINFO to our technical teams here.

    Nope

    Doesn't work.

Maybe the problem is in the matchmaking, or reflects in the connection overall.
Kind of that message of "low frame rate" is linked somehow with status of the connection...
    But its just a guess
