    Accomplished Knee Pads

After all these years, me and my friends were having a discussion about this knee pads, so i've decided to ask. If i use a build with Accomplished Knee Pads, are my odds of getting exotic or classified gears are also increased (triple) ? For example, i have 1% chance of getting exotic, with Accomplished Knee Pads it become 3%? In my opinion it isnīt, it keeps 1%, but my friends are insisting on the idea of 3%. Thanks.

No, they do not increase your % chance to get better loot drops.

They simply increase the amount of XP you get from killing NPCs in ways that give extra "accolades" such as headshot kills, multi-kills, kills by environmental damage (exploding barrels for example), and so on.

If you use Accomplished knee pads and roll a lot of extra "Kill XP" on your gear and gear mods (up to 128% max), then try your best to only kill NPCs with headshots, you will earn tons of XP and get a steady supply of Field Proficiency Caches quite easily.

One of my 4 characters is dedicated purely to XP and cache farming. Very easy to get loot that way

Interesting, cause I have heard others say it does improve you chances.. It would be nice if a CM would step in and set the record straight.

I have one character dedicated entirely to XP farming with Accomplished knee pads as a permanent fixture of the build, regularly doing named boss runs, weekly assignments, HVTs, etc.

In all my time spent playing (over 2200 hours now, sheesh!), I honestly have not seen any kind of noticeable difference in drop chances/rates vs any of my other characters/builds.

I would genuinely be quite astonished if there's actually any truth to that theory.

They come with extra rewards for accolades. Stuff like headshot kill XP, weak point kills, multikills, survivor bonuses, and more field proficiency caches

How is 128% max, when you get 56% on KP, , 28% on Vest, 14% on mask- that right there is 98%, plus the 10% from the Security wing- 108%, and you have 5 mod pieces with 6% each, thats 30%, for a total of 138%. Or is 128% the cap?

The "Experienced Agent" perk simply doesn't appear on your character sheet as a buff to Kill XP.

But yes, in theory the extra 10% from the perk should also be applied to give a total of 138% Kill XP.

Then again, the perk's description says "Increase XP gained from all activities by 10%", so... perhaps "all activities" only refers to mission rewards, and not from kills?

Hard to say for sure without making a brand new character and comparing the numbers, but I have 4 characters already and no desire to delete one of them just to test this.

    0% Kill XP:

    128% Kill XP:
