Wow, is this really that important? I mean, its just entertainment. I have to give a chuckle at how serious some of these boards get. Not just the Ubi boards. Gaming boards in general. (more laughing)

I have to agree with you on this point. I can appreciate the different things that show up and link the various games, but even if they don't line up exactly.

It's the lore that ties all the separate installments together in the decade old franchise.

No different from Marvel films, Star Wars or Star Trek IPs.

They all have mummified corpses in them including Amunets and its a full body.

Plus to the person that said her limbs are elsewhere....
Did you pay attention to any of the ancient beliefs portrayed in Origins?

That was a rather obvious joke

No. They have objects that look like mummified corpses.

The way I look at it is yes in every tomb in Italy there seems to be a body with the seals, however there is no reason as to why the bodies of these historical assassins would end up in Italy as most were not affiliated with it. I remember Ezio’s uncle stating that the Auditore ancestors created the large house and the small city itself, I would also argue that it was their ancestors who created the statues to honour the historic assassins with the armour of Altair being the most famous so far and as we know we had to collect the seals to gain armour that was described as being made of an unknown substances. I would look at it as in the Italian assassins before Ezio are buried win the seals to protect them even in death.
