Surely a "HardCore" mode where Survival IS the BASE GAME (minus the annoying hunger, thirst, and viral mechanics) could be added with minimum effort?

It's all be asked for before. Turn the LZ into a open world area with the landmarks from Survival, more events, more bosses, stronger bosses, more things to DO!!!!!

But all a CM is going to tell you is that WSP is going to deliver some of that and we should wait for that.

None of these things are coming in this version of the game unfortunately, there is just not enough support on the Massive/Red Storm end to both want to do these things and also to have the manpower/time to implement them. Our best bet is these type of things are added into Division 2, if and when that ever gets made.

    2. World bosses being more like landmarks rather than hanging around on street corners. Why isn't Sorretto holed up in that building across from his current spawn location? And why do these bosses choose to hang out with red enemies? Apart from Fumes they are all just far too easy. Up their levels and numbers, they should all be elites.

    3. Stick contamination events in all those unused subways. You've got the code already, just put it outside the precious DZ.

It can only be stubbornness or bloody-mindedness that's stopping them from doing some of these things. Someone needs to tell Ubisoft (who I'm pretty sure hold the purse strings) how much they are losing in potential sales (even now) by being so belligerent.
It really is sad that Fumes is the hardest boss in the LZ.

Here's the thing: the devs likes to have things "feel special." It is why you don't have Hunters in the DZ or LZ right now, however technically, LMB-3 are Hunters, they just don't look as cool. So, you have to create things that feel special for where they are, hence the reason why the WSP alerts and Resistance maps is a WSP only thing right now Also, it's a new part of the map, so you're gonna want players to go over there, especially since you've added something new within the game. Combo, combo.

Contamination events are DZ. HVTs are LZ, etc.

Course, I think universally, we all want landmarks in the LZ. That is the ultimate "if we had to choose one..." feature. LZ bosses are technically Landmarks, they're just not labeled on the map. After all, what do we all go to landmarks for?

They just don't have the respawn time we want them to have and they are not really challenging. Also, the loot crates @ end game in the LZ aren't rewarding you with quality items like landmark chests or DZ caches do. You're getting greens and blues in WT5. It's dumb. And I'm sure that they all are on the same loot table. It just needs updating.

They don't to keep trying to force people into the DZ to try and justify it being a good idea. DZ has never even been about PvP, its always been about ganking and bullying weaker players/smaller groups, its a toxic cesspool that most try to avoid and in large part a reason why people left this game in droves. We should have gotten an LZ tune up to make it more like the DZ like 3-6 months after launch, should have been a priority back when they had an opportunity to bring back some of the like 98% of people who moved on already.

All of the Devs like the Gank Zone. And they still want to force us in there to get certain loot items, most specifically Exotics. Personally, If I was in business, I would set it to encourage the most play to ensure the longevity of my game. These guys got the quick dime, so not interested in the slow nichol.

Bottom line is, most of the players that have left we're PvEers (and PvPers who think PvP in this game is crap, which is true which only leaves PvE).

The whole PvE DZ argument, and changing the Exotic loot tables in the LZ should exist. Bottom line this game PUNISHES players who won't spend time in the DZ.

Ironically someone is going to come in here and tell us that there is no penalty for dying in the DZ and that we should stop whining. To them I didn't realize constantly being ganked by 4 man's and having most of the items I pick up drop to the ground wasn't a form of punishment lol.

I wont lie PvP in the game CAN be enjoyable, just not in the DZ. I mainly play solo so I pretty much never enter the DZ. If I'm going to PvP I queue up some Last Stand and run my hybrid FireTac build holding choke points and help stop enemies from pushing areas.

I like this idea of giving up a PVE phase in the DZ. They can add the same feature that they have for Survival where you check whether you want to play PVE or PVP. I believe that would work.
