The patch notes, and the in game pop up all mention needing the Season Pass to unlock the new class today. This is a bit confusing, because ubisoft also offer a "Ghost War Pass" for $14.99 which is supposed to give early access to all the new classes. By my understanding the Season pass included the ghost war pass benefits, and the ghost war pass was just a standalone purchase for just the pvp unlocks. The Season pass is $39.99 on ubisoft and steam; the Ghost War pass is $14.99 on ubisoft and steam. Ive seen no mention of the ghost war pass, and everyone is talking about needing the season pass, and lamenting spending $40. According to the product desciption for the ghost war pass however, those of us with no season pass should be able to roll with just the $14.99 ghost war pass purchase........Right? Anyone out there who purchased just the ghost war pass? can you confirm access to the Disruptor class? This is the product Im talking about:

You don't need a pass at all though. You can just wait 7 days and not spend any money. It's free.

Let "everyone" know that they no need lamenting any longer, the classes are free.

The rest is pretty basic, get a Season Pass, and you can get the 2 expansion packs Narco Road and Fallen Ghosts. And will also grant you 7 days early access to future PvP classes.
Or if you don't want the 2 expansions, just get the Ghost War pass which does nothing but give you access to the new classes 7 days early.

You're still missing the point of my post. Im aware of the 2 products and their descriptions, but in game the popup says you need to buy the season pass when you select Disruptor, with an option on the pop up to buy the season pass now. The patch notes also read: "...Season Pass owners will have immediate access to the class, while the other players will be able to purchase the Disruptor with Prestige Credits after a small period of Season Pass exclusivity." Again suggesting you need the season pass. The ghost war pass is not mentioned anywhere, and people are talking about having to spend $40 to get access to Disruptor today. The point of my post is to say there is a cheaper, 14.99 option out there on their website and on steam, even though its not mentioned in these instances, and wanting to verify that someone who has purchased the cheaper 14.99 ghost war pass does in fact have the class available as they should. I would expect that they would, because thats what the product is supposed to be, but it seems ubi is kinda pushing the season pass only, and not mentioning the cheaper option in the patch notes, or in the game pop up.

Wanted to update this just to say that they do mention the ghost war pass now on the official website's post where they advertise all the new changes and the future roadmap. Lot of players seem to be unaware of this cheaper option, and the patch notes and game dont make you aware of it. Ill be going with the ghost war pass this evening myself on steam.

Yea I understand that. I was more addressing the fact that Ive talked to people in game who were talking about having to spend 40 bucks to get the class today. The reason they think this is because the patch notes say season pass owners get it early, and the pop up on the disruptor class in the game says you must have the season pass, so Ive run into players who werent aware there was something called a ghost war pass that was just $14.99. I suspect some folks who arent paying attention will spend 40 bucks today just to unlock disruptor because they think they must have the season pass.

I just got the Disruptor with 1500 U-credits. $$ I had left over from a boost. I haven't bought either pass yet.

But yeah, when we click to unlock Disruptor in game it says you have to buy the Season Pass to unlock him. That's pretty misleading when there is a 25$ difference in the Ghost War Pass, which gives you the same PVP character that's being advertised. And no mention of being able the purchase him with U-credits. Which I just did.

Try not to piss everyone off today. Only 70 in game at the moment. Est. time to find a match is almost 5 minutes. Let's alienate as few people as possible please.
